Long-time dog mom. How can I help?

My family raised me to love and respect animals of all kinds.. but I am not a fan of the reptile family (sorry!). I helped train a family dog during my high school years and became a foster mom/adoption advisor for a rescue in 2006. I have helped about 30 dogs find their furever homes! Personally, I have 5 dogs and 2 cats in heaven, and 3 dogs here with me now. I provide pet sitting services for friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, and furry caged critters (i.e. guinea pigs, bunnies). I am experienced with dogs of all ages (puppy to senior) and varying temperaments (i.e. fearful puppy mills rescues, timidity with hearing/sight challenges, incontinence) and use positive reinforcement for training.

Miss Angela is amazing, and took such good care of my wonderful furry companion. Kept me informed with pics and videos, and taught me how to easily disassemble the crate that belongs to my Sheba. Helped me enjoy my trip and know that my precious girl was in great hands, Absolutely terrific, and will be delighted to reach out to for next time. Thank you Miss Angela!

Very sweet and open about how she cares for and maintains the dogs. Rory was happy, safe, and had a great time! I was so happy to see he was left with Angie. She's kind, patient, understanding and helped make the process easy while I was away from my pup. WILL USE HER SERVICES AGAIN

Angela took EXCELLENT care of our two small dogs. We felt totally comfortable leaving them in her care. They were treated like her own and the large, fenced yard was amazing... We could tell by the pictures she sent us that our dogs were very comfortable and were having a great time. We highly recommend Angela!!

Angie has rescued dogs for a really long time. Not only was she a foster home for dogs for years but since moving to NC I have seen her adopt specifically older dogs to give them their best life in their senior doggie years. She has taken care of all my dogs including 2 puppies & a senior dog that needed medication daily. She’s a caring dog sitter & treats her dogs & dogs in her care like family.

Schedule

I have worked remotely since 2020. I am out and about almost daily throughout the week, but usually not away for more than 6 hours at a time. Due to full-time employment, I am selective about availability. I prefer weekend jobs, and will take no more than 2 per month. I am also unable to board puppies or destructive chewers. All dogs must be crate trained for their safety when I am away or unable to supervise them (i.e. overnight).

Pets

A typical day

A typical day is only typical for the dog "in question". My senior gal enjoys nothing more than her meals (on time!) and basking in the sun. My younger two enjoy a good run around the yard and barking at the neighbor doggos. As rescues, they are not toy lovers.. but we definitely interact often. Cockers need ear care routinely, as well as grooming. I tailor activities to the dog and their routines as much as possible.
