Pet care experience
Ever since I was 7 years old my family has had animals - cats, dogs, fish, turtles. I have done pet sitting and dog walking as a favor for friends and family for years. I love to go for walks and miss bringing my own dog for a walk, since he’s passed. I have successfully helped my dog and a friends dog walk politely on a leash. I look forward to taking your dog for a walk of any length!

I have to share that Angela R. has been someone I really trust with caring for any animal. She was a loving furry baby parent to her own cat and dog and to mine as well. I always felt good knowing that if I was away my babies would be cared for and loved. I know she just loves animals and she has been one who loves taking care of others pets as well. She has a good reputation because many friends have asked her to come and take care of their cats and dogs. And they continue to ask because she does such a good job! She loves going for walks so she would be happy to have a walking companion to take along with her.
We had Angela watch our 2 dogs over the weekend and she did a great job. Our dogs are older and require special attention, they need medication in the morning and need assistance getting outside at times to go to the bathroom. She did everything with no problem and she also would keep us updated with how they were doing while we were away. We would and actually are using her again while we go away later this year.
Had two dogs Angela always looked in on. Highly recommend. Attentive to details, follows directions. Very trustworthy. Always communicates well. I Have zero concern leaving my pets with her.

It is very helpful for me to know ahead of time if your dog or cat has any quirks I should know about in order to care for them in the best way. For dogs - when we’re on a walk this will help me to know for example if they fixate on squirrels or cats and tend to want to run after them. Or for cats if they for example like or don’t like to be pet in a certain area.
A typical day
I’m happy to play at length with your dog or cat with whatever activity or toy is their favorite. We can walk for as long or short as your dog would like, as they explore all the things to see and smell!

Availability
I have time during the week in the mid to late afternoons and most evenings to be an available for dog walking. Most weekends I am available early afternoon through the evening for walks and/or stopping in to check on your dog or cat.
