Its just like having family to stay!
My husband, Dave, and I started house sitting as a couple around eight years ago. We were spending our time split between the UK and France, cruising the French waterways on our boat. Now we’re fully UK based and live on our boat near Reading. We’re veterans of around 65 housesits now, many of them are repeat sits and we have regular clients who’ve invited us back again and again. We love dogs and cats but our lifestyle doesn’t lend itself to having pets of our own, so we relish the opportunity to love and care for other people’s pets. I think our reviews from previous homeowners will speak for themselves: here are a couple of examples: March 2020 ‘Thank you so much for looking after Flossie and our home. We didn’t worry at all while we were away and loved getting the pics and updates you sent’ February 2020 ‘Dave and Angie were absolutely perfect. Enthusiastic and great communicators, and left the house immaculate for our return. I promise we’ll stick to your pet care rules, follow your routines with them and give them the best time while you’re away. Dave has a PDSA pet first aid certificate and I have worked through lots of online courses to properly learn about dog behaviour and their care.

Angela and Dave were fantastic sitters for my dog, Maple. There was a bit of confusion on the day with the address, but they handled it with complete patience and were happy to come to the correct place without any fuss, which I really appreciated. Maple is quite an anxious dog, but they were so understanding and let her set the pace. She chose to spend most of the time upstairs on the bed, and they were completely fine with that. They sent me regular updates and pictures throughout, which was such a thoughtful touch and really put my mind at ease. For the few hours Maple was with them, I felt totally reassured that she was in safe and caring hands. I would definitely recommend Angela and Dave to anyone looking for reliable, kind, and flexible dog sitters.
Perfect Rover sitters!! Angela and Dave were so wonderful with Jack, giving him the utmost care and love while they were here. It was clear from the photos we had on our trip that Jack also loved being with them and was relaxed, which for us is the most important thing. As if that wasn’t enough, Angela and Dave also looked after our house as if it were their own, leaving it tidy and even remembering to take the bins out when I forgot 😅 highly recommended, a fantastic, lovely couple and excellent sitters who will give your dog the best care you could hope for! Angela was the perfect house and dog sitter. Our puppy was just a year old, full of energy and mischief! Angela took her for lovely long walks, kept her entertained and cuddled up together in the evenings. It gave us peace of mind that Berry was safe, happy and loved. We will be booking with Angela again when we go away.
Angie and Dave came to dog sit our Working Cockers for one night. They are very professional; know their dogs and obviously love being with them. We felt they were in good and safe hands . We will try to book them again but understandably they are very popular and very busy!

Dave and I are both retired (he’s a very active 60+ year-old and I’m just in my 60s so we’re available full time to take good care of your pets.
