Your Cat's Guardian Angel in Macomb
I'm a cat-care expert. I moved to Macomb from Seattle where I catsat for over 50 clients, and I am now taking new clients here. I'm a cat-lover to the bone. I have four kitties of my own right now and have always had cats. I foster kittens for the McDonough County Humane Society. I'd love to be your catsitter. I'm honest, respectful, a great communicator, and a retired professional who now makes her living as an author (Catsitter Mysteries!). I can spot a hairball at a hundred paces, and I have over 40 years of experience with litter boxes. I have experience giving all kinds of medicine to cats (pills, liquid, salve, subcutaneous fluids, and shots). I have bottle-fed kittens. (In the interest of transparency, I do not have official training as a vet tech.) My schedule is extremely flexible. Recently, I needed someone to care for my cats while I was on a trip, and I realized how much stress it caused me. I was so worried about who would care for them. I'd like to relieve this stress for others and make going away more peaceful. If you have a dog or other animal that also needs care, we can discuss whether I'm able to provide what you need. I have experience feeding and caring for lizards, snakes, fish, birds, and even tarantulas. Wishing you all the best, Angel... Fully vaccinated. MORNING DROP-INS. Due to home responsibilities, I'm not available until 9am. OVERNIGHTS. For overnight stays, I'll be at your place all night and most of the day. I will have to leave for a little while to take care of my own kitties. I work remotely from 11am to 5:30pm, so I will be working in your home for a portion of the day. [WINTER CAVEAT: In terrible road conditions, I may have a hard time getting to your home. I will do my best, and I will work with you to give your pets extra food and water so they can weather a longer time alone. Angela is wonderful — kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and dedicated. She communicates often, clearly, and with a nice bit of joy and humor. It’s such a relief to have a wonderful sitter for my sweet girl.
We highly recommend Angela as a pet sitter! She truly cared about our cats and kept them entertained with lots of playing. She also went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for when the roads were shut down during a snowstorm. Angela's love for cats came through in all her communications with us.
Angel is thoughtful and intuitive around my cat. She’s careful to slowly introduce herself each time so he’s not freaked out by the new person when his people are away. She’s a very gentle personality to have around for the people, too. Having interacted with a lot of different cats at this point, she’s got a knack for putting them at ease. Highly recommend.
Angela cared for my partner's and my two kitties on more than one occasion! And she was truly a god-send!! She always made sure to send us videos of them, or at least Tiki since he loved to come out and play with her when she pulled out the feather toys on a string. Reese warmed up to her after a few watches, and with how tough of a judge of character Reese is I knew it meant she was in good hands with Angela. She was always responsive whenever we had questions for her while we were away, and she was always polite and professional. I would recommend her as a sitter, 100%. I mean, I requested her over a pool of others because she was truly the best!!

Programa
I work from home, so my hours are very flexible. I can match your cat's medication or meal schedule, spend the night if you want someone there for them, and do up to four visits per day, either 30 or 60 minutes each.
