Angela was great and took very good care of Earl. She updated us with lots of photos and his activities. I would absolutely book again and would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs. They have a lovely home and great back yard.

Angela is the Best! This was our boys first time with her and we couldn't be happier with the care he received. She's a great communicator and we talked through all of our dogs "quirks". We received regular updates and pictures, and saw that he was in great hands. Would definitely use Angela again and highly recommend her.

A typical day
A typical day with pets in my care revolves around ensuring they have fun, stay active, and feel loved and safe. Here's a breakdown of a fun, pet-friendly day: Morning: Early Wake-up & Cuddles: Start the day with some snuggles and bonding time. I’d spend a few minutes petting and comforting each pet as they wake up, setting a calm and happy tone for the day. Walk or Outdoor Play: Depending on the weather, we might take an early morning walk or head to the yard for some outdoor fun. For dogs, this could mean a brisk walk to get their energy flowing, while cats might enjoy some time in a secure, enclosed outdoor space or a few minutes of playtime with toys like feather wands or laser pointers. Mid-Morning: Interactive Play & Training: After breakfast, it’s time for some more focused play. This could involve fetch with a dog, a puzzle toy for a cat, or agility games for both. Training can be integrated, too—teaching a new trick or practicing basic commands with treats as rewards. Enrichment Time: Offering mental stimulation is key. I’d set up a few enrichment activities—like puzzle feeders, scent games, or a scavenger hunt to engage the pets’ minds. Cats might enjoy a cardboard box or climbing tree, while dogs could work on sniffing out treats hidden around the house. Afternoon: Social Time & Exploration: If your pets are social and enjoy being around other animals, I'd organize a small playdate with neighborhood dogs or supervised interactions with other pets. For more independent animals, I’d rotate between activities like solo play sessions and quiet time where they can relax and nap. Outdoor Adventure: If the weather is nice, we could explore a nearby park, nature trail, or dog-friendly café. For adventurous dogs, this might mean a hike, while for cats, a safe outdoor enclosure or time on a leash in the garden could provide a satisfying change of scenery. Evening: Evening Walk or Calm Play: A relaxing evening walk or some low-key play with toys like a tug rope or a soft ball could help wind down the day. If your pets enjoy cuddling, I’d also dedicate time to just relax and watch a movie together, with plenty of pets, scratches, and belly rubs. Dinner & Relaxation: After dinner, there would be time for a bit more light play or simply spending time together, ensuring each pet feels cared for and loved before settling in for the night. Throughout the Day: Loads of TLC: No matter what, throughout the day, I’d make sure each pet gets plenty of affection—whether it’s a scratch behind the ears, a gentle massage, or just sitting quietly together. Every pet has its own personality, so I’d be tuned in to their needs for attention, play, and rest. Every activity is tailored to each pet's unique needs, ensuring that they get the right balance of fun, exercise, and relaxation!
