We were disappointed with our experience with Angela as our pet sitter for our senior dog, Bear. On the day our vacation was set to begin, Angela arrived at 8:05 and informed us she could no longer start at the agreed-upon time (Friday at 8 a.m.). Instead, she was only available to start on Saturday at 9 p.m., which left us scrambling for alternatives at the last minute. This unexpected change caused a lot of stress and disrupted the start of our vacation. Unfortunately, Angela did not provide any alternative solutions to accommodate our original schedule. During the time Angela was responsible for Bear, communication was not up to the usual standard we have come to expect from our rover sitters (periodic updates and pictures.) Despite a pre-meeting and detailed care instructions left for her, it became apparent that she had trouble remembering key details, such as where to dispose of used poop bags and Bear’s used insulin needles. This lack of attention to detail was concerning, especially given that Bear has specific medical needs. While our interactions with Angela were polite, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. The level of care and reliability that we require for Bear simply wasn’t met, and we would not be comfortable hiring Angela for future pet-sitting needs.

Angela has taken care of many family and friends over the years. She helped me out when I had knee surgery and helped me take care of my dog, Hanson, that is a Yorkie and my cat, Tucker! She has a love for animals especially dogs and cats and has experience taking care of all kinds of animals with her unique personality that all animals love. Her character is impeccable and she would be a blessing for anyone who needs her to help with their animals. I wish she lived closer to me because I could use her responsible, fun, loving personality with my babies.
