Outdoorsy Mom Who LOVES Dogs!!
I have had doggie best friends my whole life. Big dogs, small dogs, dogs with special needs, I love 'em all! I worked as a volunteer at Emancipet in Austin, TX for more than 5 years assisting with simple blood draws, medications, and spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats. I currently have one dog at home, an older, very friendly and well behaved Husky. He also loves dogs of all shapes and sizes and would love some more doggie friends!

Angela and her family were amazing. Angela was very communicative and exercised my dog a lot- he was very tired and happy on pickup! She was also accommodating and helpful with my travel schedule. I would definitely book with Angela again and would recommend her to others.
Angela was great with my dog and was kind and flexible when drop off/pick up times were fumbled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Angela and her family were amazing hosts and caregivers for our pup. She got regular walks in some of the most beautiful area around (we are from out of town) and was clearly happy and relaxed in all the photos that Angela sent during her stay. Knowing she was in good hands helped us enjoy the music festival down the road. Thank you! We are planning to come back in two years and would happily have stay again then!
Angela and her family were lovely! Obi was very safe and well cared for in their hands, with plenty of walks, outside time, other dogs to play with and care. Obi’s already missing the desert hikes!
Angela and her family made sure my little Digger Roo was happy and well cared for.

Schedule
Angela lives and works on 20 acres near Buena Vista with a five year old son and Husky. I work from home and enjoy spending free time hiking around the property and cuddling up in front of a movie and a fire at night. We feed our pup once in the morning and once at night with lots of walks and belly/head rubs throughout the day. He likes to sleep in his bed inside or outside depending on his own mood.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a small house that all pets are welcome inside of, as well as a large gated patio and small fenced yard. The 20-acre property is not entirely fenced in, so I can leash walk dogs and keep all gates closed, or allow dogs to roam a bit if we know they'll stay within eyesight.
Pets
A typical day
We wake up around 7 each day for breakfast, school drop off, and then back home for the first walk of the day. Then some cuddling while I work at the desk or around the house. An afternoon hike is followed by dinner and playtime before we settle in for more snuggles and sleep.

- Let me know if your dog would enjoy playing outside with our Husky or if they’d rather be indoors away from the action. I can make sure your pet gets quiet time alone with me if that’s preferable to playtime outside. Hopefully a combination of both!
