I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets in the home—usually a dog, a cat, or both—and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. My last dog passed away about four years ago, and while I would love to adopt again, I can’t right now because my son has significant allergies to cats and dogs. I truly miss the companionship and joy that pets bring, which is one of the reasons I’m so grateful to care for other families’ animals. When your dog is with me, they’ll get more than just the basics. Of course I’ll make sure their physical needs are met—walks, feeding, fresh water, and safety—but I’ll also give them plenty of affection, attention, and calm companionship. I’m comfortable with larger dogs, and I’m also happy to give basic medications (such as pills with food or treats) as needed. I’ll treat your pup like a beloved member of the family, and I’ll follow your routines and instructions closely so they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
