Your Dogs New Favorite Human
I currently have two small cocker spaniels, and my sister has three dogs—a cocker spaniel, a small poodle, and a lab/pit mix—that I help care for pretty often. I’ve also helped watch dogs for friends and people in my circle over the years, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and routines. Even some packs that needed to be separated for being sensitive to certain stressors at specific times. I worked at a dog bakery where dogs were constantly coming in and out, which gave me a lot of experience interacting with different breeds and temperaments. Being around so many dogs helped me learn how to read their behavior and make sure they feel comfortable and safe.

Schedule
I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to take care of your pets and give them the attention they deserve. I’m also on a fitness journey, so walks and runs are definitely something I enjoy and can include for dogs that need the extra exercise.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel relaxed while you’re away. That means sticking to their usual feeding times, walks, playtime, and any instructions you leave for me I pay attention to their behavior and how they’re feeling so I can notice if anything seems off. I’m also patient with shy or nervous pets and let them warm up at their own pace. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and make sure pets stay safe by keeping doors and gates secure and their environment calm and clean. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands.

A typical day
I will do anything in my power to make your pets forget they're even missing you!! Whether that's exploring a new dog park, taking a walk around the neighborhood, providing frozen lick mats, puzzles to stimulate their mind, or even something as simple as chilling on the couch for the lazy ones. I'm happy to tailor the day to any energy level.
