From huskies to house cats--I bond with them all! I love animals and connecting with them, making sure they are happy and cared for. I am very comfortable with cats and have lots of experience with large, high-energy dogs like huskies, boxers, retrievers, and labs as well as smaller dogs and dogs and cats that are anxious. I have years of experience watching both cats and dogs for friends and roommates, including making sure animals are walked, fed, played with and loved when roommates have been out of town. I'm experienced with training puppies and rescues and would be more than happy to do this for your dog. I'm also very active and love to play with animals with toys in fun and creative ways to tire them out and keep them entertained. I'm passionate about understanding animal behavior and creating relationships with animals where they can learn and grow, and play is a great way of doing this. I'm also communicative in only positive and gentle ways, and will happily adopt whichever signals your animal understands best. I am also impeccably clean and tidy, leaving spaces cleaner than I found it. I'm reliable, communicative, and punctual.

I'm adaptive to each individual animal. My number one priority when taking care of any animal is making them feel safe by taking care of their essential needs and giving them lots of love.
Ratings and reviews
Angela did a good job with my senior dog, including managing medication and sticking to his food and walk schedule. I would have appreciated some more updates and photos of Aspen during my trip, but I came home to a happy dog and a clean house.
We unfortunately did not have a great experience with Angela. Before we left town, we had multiple in-person meet-ups to go over care for our one dog and two cats, and she was was provided with a full page of information each for the dog and cats to reference during our weekend away. Other than urinary prescription food for our male cat, our animals are quite straightforward to care for. The visit period started rocky, with a miscommunication about when the visit was supposed to start. It seemed like the timing was an issue, and it appeared that the start time was ignored. When we arrived home, there were a few concerning things going on. Although we requested the litter boxes be cleaned 1-2x/day, the preferred box was very soiled on and the litter genie was very light. There was cat poop and urine outside of both boxes. When we cleaned the boxes, both cats immediately used them multiple times, which makes us wonder if the litter boxes were ever cleaned out while we were gone. Another thing that was noted upon our arrival was that the dog water bowl was completely bone dry, and the mat under was also dry. When I filled the bowl up, our dog immediately drank 2 bowls of water. I have never seen her drink that much water all at once ever, which had us concerned if the water had been filled throughout the weekend. While our animals are alive and well, feeling as though they did not get the attention and care we paid for makes us hesitant to book again.
Angela has looked after my dog Squid and my apartment twice now and she did a great job both times! Highly recommend!

My schedule is very flexible and open as I have a part-time work from home job. I'm available any day or the week and happy to work with you on the schedule you and your animal needs for short-term or ongoing care.
