Dog walks are usually in the early morning before I start work at 08:30. I currently work in the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but I have the flexibility to work from home during the week if full-time care is required. My lunch break varies between 12:00–15:00, which allows time for short afternoon walks and check-ins. I’m also available for evening walks straight after my work shift finishes at 17:45.

Information Angela D. would like to know about your pet

My boarding licence requires dogs to be fully vaccinated, including kennel cough. Proof of vaccination will be required before boarding. I’m 5'2", and while my profile settings list a general weight range up to 18kg, the right fit really depends on a dog’s activity level and lead manners. For very active or strong dogs, I’m most comfortable handling up to around 15kg so that walks remain safe, controlled, and enjoyable for both of us. My priority is always safety — for your dog, for others, and for myself — so being realistic about the right match allows me to provide the very best care. I also have two house rabbits who have their own dedicated bedroom, securely closed off with a child stair gate. Because of this, my home is best suited to dogs without a strong prey drive. Your dog’s comfort and everyone’s safety are extremely important to me, and I’m always happy to discuss suitability beforehand.

A typical day

I absolutely love spending time with dogs — from long, enriching walks to cosy cuddles indoors (if they enjoy that too!). Our home is relaxed and welcoming, and dogs are allowed on the sofa and even on my bed. Of course, I completely respect your preferences and will follow whatever rules you have for your dog at home. We typically go out for 2–3 walks a day: Morning: approximately 1 hour Midday: 20–30 minutes Evening: approximately 1 hour During the summer months, once the mud has dried up, we love heading to open fields for longer, more adventurous walks where dogs can really enjoy themselves. Your dog will be treated like part of the family, with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection in a safe, calm environment.

Pet care experience

🐶 Welcome to Angela’s Pet Care 🐾 I’m a fully licensed home boarder (Licence No. AW137), offering a calm, safe and loving environment for one dog at a time—perfect for dogs who prefer being the only pet in the home. This service is especially suited to dogs who may feel anxious around others, are older, or simply thrive with one-to-one attention and a quieter space. My approach is inspired by my own Cocker Spaniel, Ruby. She wasn’t comfortable around other dogs and was happiest in calm, human-only environments. I understand how important it is to find the right setting, and I aim to provide a true home-from-home where your dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for. I recently said goodbye to Ruby at the age of 13 after supporting her through congestive heart failure. Even in her later years, she still enjoyed little adventures, and caring for her through every stage of her life deepened my understanding of senior dogs and those with additional health needs. I have over 14 years’ experience caring for dogs, and while Ruby was with us, I also regularly cared for friends’ dogs in my home, providing a safe and loving environment whenever their owners needed support. ✔ One-to-one care ✔ Fully licensed & insured (Protectivity) ✔ Experienced with senior & sensitive dogs ✔ Calm, home environment I treat every dog as if they were my own 🐾 📩 Please feel free to message me to discuss your dog’s needs or arrange a meet & greet

Angela was excellent and I was so reassured about leaving my dog Ruben with her. I received daily updates on him and as a result of my experience, have booked Angela for other dates during 2026 when I am away from home for work.

Angela was absolutely amazing looking after our dog Rex and our home whilst we were away. Rex had the best time and was completely spoilt with lots of lovely walks, outings, and attention — it was so reassuring knowing he was so happy and well cared for. Angela kept us updated every day with messages and photos, which really put our minds at ease whilst we were on holiday. It was clear how much she genuinely cared for Rex, and he absolutely adored her. She also took fantastic care of our house, and everything was spotless when we got home. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. We would 100% recommend Angela to anyone and will definitely be using her again in the future!
