I work from home and am home most of the time, so caring for a dog fits very naturally into my daily routine. I only board one dog at a time and currently have no pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention and all the care, companionship and affection I have to give during their stay. 😊 Their day can include regular bathroom breaks, walks, sniffing time outdoors, playtime, quiet time beside me while I work, and plenty of rest. Some dogs enjoy longer walks and exploring, while others, especially seniors, are happier with shorter outings and a slower pace. I am happy to adjust the amount of activity based on your dog’s age, energy level, mobility and normal routine.🐾 Your dog will have the run of the home and can follow me around, relax nearby while I work, play with their favourite toys or curl up wherever they feel most comfortable. I will also keep their meals, walks, bathroom breaks and bedtime routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home 🩷

Your dog will have the run of my home and will be treated like a little member of the household 🩷 Because I only board one dog at a time, my home stays quiet and peaceful, and I am able to give close attention to their comfort, eating, drinking, bathroom habits and behaviour throughout their stay. Whenever possible, I prefer to arrange a meet & greet before the first booking. This gives your dog a chance to meet me and explore the environment while you are still there. Dogs do not always understand why their person is leaving them somewhere new so I feel that a little familiarity beforehand can make the handoff less confusing and help them settle more comfortably. 😊🩷 It also gives us time to talk about your dog’s personality, routine, fears, habits, food needs and any special instructions. I will follow your care instructions closely and provide regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable while you are away. 🩷

My goal is to understand your dog’s personality, routine and behaviour ahead of time so I can provide care that feels familiar, comfortable and safe for them. 😊 -What is your dog’s regular routine and exercise or outing schedule? -Do they have any food allergies or dietary sensitivities? -Are they fearful of children, bikes, other dogs, loud noises, fireworks or anything else? -Do they have any anxiety, aggression or resource-guarding behaviours? -Are they sensitive to heat or quick to become overheated? -Is there anything specific I should watch out for? -Do they pick up or eat things from the ground? -Do they try to take food from tables or counters? -In what situations do they usually bark - for example, excitement, fear, attention or food? -How often do they need to be taken outside for bathroom breaks? 🐾
A typical day
A typical day will be shaped around your dog’s usual routine, age and energy level. Some dogs enjoy longer walks, sniffing around outside and exploring, while others (especially seniors) are happiest with shorter outings, a slower pace and plenty of quiet companionship. 🩷 Since I work from home, your dog can spend much of the day close by. They will have the run of the home and can follow me around, relax beside me while I work, play with their favorite toys or curl up for a nap wherever they feel comfortable. I have always believed that dogs benefit from fresh air and a little change of scenery. With my own dogs, we often spent two to three hours outside each day, including stroller outings as they became older. With your dog, I will adjust the amount and type of activity according to what they enjoy and what is appropriate for their age, mobility and comfort. 🌿

Pet care experience
Dogs have been a huge part of my life for many years. I raised my two beloved dogs, Polo, a miniature American Eskimo, and TaiTai, a Pomeranian, from the time they were puppies until they reached the wonderful ages of 17 and 16. They passed on within the last year, and I feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many years and stages of life with them. 🩷 Caring for them throughout their lives, and especially during their senior years, gave me a great deal of hands-on experience. I prepared all of their meals at home, managed their medication schedules and regular veterinary care, and supported them through mobility changes with physiotherapy, acupuncture and laser therapy. Even as they got older, I made sure they continued enjoying plenty of fresh air through walks, stroller outings and time outdoors. Over the years, I also became very tuned in to canine body language and the little signals dogs give us. I tend to notice when a dog is feeling nervous, uncomfortable, overstimulated, tired or simply needs a little more space and reassurance. Every dog has their own personality, and I believe the best care comes from paying attention and adjusting to what helps that particular dog feel safe and comfortable. 🐾😊 🩷 I only care for one small dog at a time, so your dog will be my one special guest and will receive my full attention, care and companionship throughout their stay. I welcome small adult dogs and gentle seniors of all breeds. I generally accept dogs up to approximately 20 pounds, although I may consider a slightly larger dog depending on their temperament and needs. For safety, I do not accept puppies under 10 months old.🩷
Reviews
I had the pleasure of entrusting Angela with the care of my puppy, Bowee, for eight days. Bowee was only seven months old at the time and Angela, along with her two other dogs, took exceptional care of her! From the moment I dropped Bowee off, it was evident that Angela was dedicated to providing exceptional care. She paid great attention to Bowee's needs, ensuring she was comfortable, well-fed, and exercised regularly. Angela's expertise in training dogs was evident as she worked diligently to instill good manners in Bowee during her stay. Angela's attention to detail was exceptional. She astutely noticed Bowee's teething and allergy problems even before I did. I trusted her judgment, and it turned out she was absolutely right. Angela suggested switching Bowee's kibble diet to a raw diet for improved nutrition, which I promptly followed, and I noticed a positive change in Bowee's overall health. Additionally, Angela took the initiative to share valuable insights about her own Pomeranian's typical problems, advising me on how to prevent them. I was genuinely impressed by her knowledge and willingness to educate me about various aspects of raising dogs. She communicated consistent throughout Bowee's stay, kept me updated with regular videos and pictures. It was heartwarming to see Bowee having a great time, and it provided me with peace of mind knowing that she was in good hands! I cannot thank Angela enough for her dedication and the genuine care she provided to Bowee. Her expertise, combined with her thoughtfulness in keeping me informed and educated, sets her apart as an excellent dog caretaker. I wholeheartedly recommend Angela to anyone in need of a trustworthy and knowledgeable individual to look after their furry companions!!
Angela’s passion and dedication as a dog owner are truly remarkable. I have entrusted her with the health and well-being of my own furry companion, and I couldn't be more grateful for her exceptional care. Angela's love for dogs shines through in every interaction she has with them. She goes above and beyond to understand each dog's unique needs, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and comfortable in her care. Her patience and gentle approach create a nurturing environment that any dog would thrive in. Responsible is an understatement when it comes to Angela's dedication. She meticulously follows feeding schedules, administers medications with precision, and maintains a keen eye on any changes in behavior or health. I've witnessed firsthand how she proactively addresses concerns and promptly communicates to ensure transparency and peace of mind. Beyond her responsibility, Angela truly embraces the joy of dog ownership. She consistently engages in stimulating activities, including regular walks, playtime, and even personalized training sessions tailored to each dog's needs. Angela's commitment to providing a well-rounded experience for every pup is evident, as she goes the extra mile to ensure they lead fulfilling and enriched lives. If you're seeking a dog sitter or walker who is not only passionate but also responsible and trustworthy, I wholeheartedly recommend Angela. Her love for dogs is infectious, and her dedication to their happiness and well-being is unparalleled. With Angela, you can rest assured that your furry friend will be in the most caring and capable hands possible.
I was Angela’s roomie and lived with her two dogs for couple of years. She is very knowledgeable and extremely caring with her dogs. I have been seen how she treats and trains her dogs. Polo and Tyty is very cute and friendly and adorable She cooks for her dog in a very healthy way. I was very scared of dogs in the past but I started to like them since I lived with her well-trained dogs. For now, I am not scared of any dogs anymore. I LOVE dogs now. I wish I have one one day. She is very reliable and warm, friendliest person that I have ever met. We still keep in touch and meet often even though I move from her house. One day, If I have a pet, I will definitely pass her to train and take care of my dog.
Angela is awesome and a devoted dog mamma. As a fellow furry owner who is also devoted to my kitty's I really value that quality in a person, in the end their our babies. I've met many dog owners over the years however I've never met anyone who cares so deeply about their dogs in every way. Polo & TyTy, Angie's dogs are super happy dogs & so well behaved as she really takes the time to properly exercise them, cook for them, train them & spend quality time w/them. Anyone who leaves their dogs with Angie should be very assured that she will really take the time to understand the dog/their issues (if any) and properly care for them as she cares for her Polo & Tyty. She has a huge compassion for animals and their well being and has years of experience with her own dogs!
