I offer Boarding and Daycare for your dogs based at my home in Appledore, North Devon. Fully licenced with Torridge District Council ANACT/00528/25 , I'm Canine First Aid trained and fully Insured with 'Pet Business Insurance' and DBS checked for your peace of mind. I know that your fur babies are precious to you so all dogs coming to Doggy Daycare and Boarding of Appledore receive the same love, care and one-to-one attention, play and walkies that our own darling little Cavapoo, Bunty, gets to ensure their happiness and well being. Caring for all age groups is second nature to me as I've had dogs my entire life. There is a large park right across from our house and your dog/s will get 2 to 3 walks a day, depending on their needs, together with access to our fully enclosed rear garden. We are surrounded by beautiful beaches and woods that your dogs can be spoilt with. I always like to have a meet and greet (free of charge) in the first instance as it gives the dogs, owners and me a chance to get to know each other a little better.

Boo and Rob have a very calming energy which enabled Alpha to feel comfortable and settle in. He was able to socialise with other dogs they were boarding (pre-agreed) which was great for him, also. I received regular updates/pictures etc so I knew he was good. I highly recommend Boo, and I've already booked Alpha in with her again.
This is our first experience with Rover and we struck gold! We could not have wished for better substitute parents (and a play friend Bunty) for our cockerpoo. From the first interaction to the last, everything was perfect. We had daily updates and video and I'm pretty sure that Paddy would have been more than happy moving in if he had the chance - several walks a day, playtime and snuggles on the sofa - he was treated like one of the family and we could not have been put more at ease about his staycation - it was perfect for Paddy and perfect for us. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Angela and her husband (and Bunty); for a 5⭐️pampered pooch experience - look no further!

Schedule
This is my full time job so I'm always here to offer playtime and cuddles and company for your dog. Dogs are part of the family pack, they love being with us so caring for them is very important to me.

Safety, trust & environment
Our back garden is fully dog-proofed. We have a dog flap plus the back door is open all day on nice days so they may come and go at leisure. We have a dog ramp on the steps to ensure short legged/older/injured/disabled dogs can access the rear garden too. Your dog can roam around in complete safety. We have a very chilled and friendly little Cavapoo who loves making new friends. You'll receive photos and videos of your dog so that you can relax in the knowledge they're having lots of fun whilst they're with me. And you're always welcome to video call to see your dog in real time 🐾
Pets
A typical day
The day starts with lots of cuddles and attention followed by fun walkies in the park right opposite my house. When we get home it's breakfast time then we have some downtime. Around lunchtime it's 'Enrichment' time where I use various methods to keep their brains active and it's fun along the way. We usually have an afternoon walk to one of the 3 nearby beaches or the woods so that the dogs can have plenty more stimulation with new things to sniff. Socialisation with the other dogs I usually care for promotes confidence and teaches them how to interact in the right way. I offer cuddles galore and there are plenty of toys here to play with too in my comfortable and cosy home-from-home feel so that your dog is relaxed, happy and stress free when you collect them 🐾
