Before leaving your pet alone with me, I'd like to meet and observe how YOU interact with them. How you call them, what they respond to... just really how to get their attention when I need it. It has meant the difference in many sitting experiences as far as pet safety is concerned. Rest assured your pet's safety IS my chief regard! I will ask you about the location of your fire extinguisher, breaker box, and water + gas shutoff valves when we meet for the first time.
A typical day
I love to go to Fort Steilacoom Park, University Place and Tacoma Metro Parks since they have great open fields and retained dog areas. If your pet hasn't learned a certain trick yet, we can learn together while you carry out your business. My vehicle is animal ready. Cats are not meant to entertain me -- I am meant to entertain them! :)

Hello friends, and welcome to 2026! Whether you're new to the Washington scene, or you've been here for ages, you're in for a good time with me, Angel! 😇 I'm welcoming you into my 7th year here on the Rover platform. I even started my own sitting business in 2023 but closed it down when I realized all that Rover does - and that I couldn't match the cost and ubiquitousness of features. I'm extremely confident that as long as I'm available, something good will come of your current situation. Please, take a read through my profile and let's make sure that all involved are compatible: For the duration of my entire life - I've felt a stronger emotional and mental connection with animals than I have with people. I'll know what your pet wants, what it's trying to tell me, and I will customize an approach to make your buddy happy within your parameters. Enjoy your time away while your fur-baby's needs are taken care of. I've seen first-hand what great Rover sitters do to take care of pets and I strive to offer even better service. I have experience with the geriatric, potty-training puppies, injured, small and large dogs and cats. And experience with free-range critters such as farm animals and reptiles. Plus, I give extra attention to caged critters like rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. However, I purposely choose not to deal with puppies anymore whenever possible. Reach out to me if you're looking for someone chill and laid back but assertive when it comes to your animal's safety and happiness. For your protection, I have even opted-in to the Enhanced Background check over some other Rover sitters. And for your buddy's protection, I've recently been certified in Dog & Cat CPR by the American Red Cross. *Due to a chronic, arthritic medical condition that does not allow me to perform multiple daily walks, one long walk every other day is about as much as I can muster during overnight bookings. I have needed to retract my dog walking services as a result and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Short daily potty walks for drop-ins and the like are fine.* **I do NOT have JBLM access.** *I do not serve West of the Narrows Bridge*
