Safety, trust & environment
I live in a dog friendly building with only 20 units. Because I have my own pup, I prefer to take in just one other dog at a time to make sure I can give both dogs my full attention. Dogs are allowed on furnitures at our home. But happy to enforce any rules as you see fit. Nacho sleeps in his dog bed at night but your pup is welcome to sleep anywhere they feel the most comfortable. I have a Diggs garage style dog crate with a comfy dog bed inside and crate cover that Nacho occasionally uses, but he’s very okay with letting other dogs use it and give them space to rest comfortably. I always monitor feeding closely to ensure both dogs feel safe while eating and to avoid any potential food aggression (please let me know if your pup is sensitive while eating).

Information Angel L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or preference. I’d also love to learn about your pups’ personalities, what gets them excited / nervous. Any triggers? Any training you would like to uphold? Any favorite treats or treats to avoid would be great to know as well. How do they do in cars, etc?
A typical day
We usually go on a 1-1.5hr walk first thing in the morning (around 6:30/7am) to get the pups energy out. This might also include some offleash play depending on the day. Followed by breakfast at home, and nap time to digest and rest. We go on another shorter walk to potty around 12-1pm. Followed by another short nap or mental enrichment. We usually go on another long walk or adventure in the afternoon around 2:30-4:30pm. Then dinner and another longer nap after. Followed by a night time potty walk around 8pm, and we are usually in bed around 9:30/10pm. Nacho and I also go on hikes and visit other parks / beaches in the city as well. Because of our active schedule, I only take in pups that would enjoy this type of routine for boarding and weekend daycare. For hotter or rainy days, I have plenty of enrichment toys that your pups are welcomed to play with. Nacho and I also do nosework training at home and can do that with your pup as well. I try to create a relaxing environment for the pups when we are home.

Pet care experience
My pup, Nacho, and I moved to Seattle about a year ago. Prior to moving here, I’ve cared for pups via Rover and fostered for a rescue organization back in NYC. I work from home and will be able to give your pup the attention they need during the day. My pup is a high energy teenager, and we usually go for long walks in the morning and go on adventures in the afternoon (eg. Lincoln Park, Schmidt Preserve Park, Alki, or hike on the Eastside). Accessibility - I live on the second floor of a quiet apartment building. While there’s an elevator, I usually take the one flight of stairs up, There’s also a short flight (about 5 steps) to the building entrance. Nacho is a 2 year old, super friendly and confident pup. He is very playful and loves sharing his toys with furiends, but also knows to respect boundaries, he would very much like to be friends with your dog 🐶. I have experience taking care of senior pets, including pets with special needs like medication administration and mobility issues. My pug, who passed away a couple years ago, was a wheelie pup. A meet and greet with Nacho and I is required to ensure the pups get along. This is more to assess your pup’s preference and for me to better understand how to best care for them (Nacho is a goofball and wants to befriend every dog 😅).
Reviews

Thanks Angel for looking after Spud. He spent a great day with you and Nacho. Thanks for the frequent updates and we are looking forward to boarding with you again

HIGhLY recommend!! 5🌟 Angel was exceptional with my dog, Mango. Angel asked great questions prior to caring for her and also let me know the generalized plan for their time. Nacho was a great companion to Mango. They were immediate friends and got along far better than Mango does with other dogs. The communication and updates were far better than I could have asked for. I am so grateful to have such a supportive Rover; thank you Angel!

Angel took great care of pickle! She is super friendly, reliable, and really dedicated to caring for fur babies. She kept us in constant communication, responded quick, and accommodated well. I feel comfortable leaving Pickle with Angel and I would definitely rebook again!

Angel took phenomenal care of our dog. Our dog was clearly so happy and comfortable with her. Really stellar dog sitter!
