Angel and Elian are great sitters! My dog Gonzo is always happy to go over. They have a big backyard and Gonzo enjoys running around.

Angel took great care of hazy! When we first arrived, Angel showed us around and let Hazy get acclimated to the home and with the other dogs. Hazy went straight to the backyard and started running around! Angel sent photos and videos while we were out of town, and then when we came home to pick her up he gave her a bath as we requested so she was ready to go home. Hazy is now passed out in her bed exhausted from all the play time she had for the past week! Thank you Angel!!

My experience with Angel was alarming. He failed to meet the agreed drop-off time. Although his husband was there, so initially I didn’t suspect anything, what followed was deeply troubling. After dropping off my dog Maui, I later discovered he had six other dogs in the house, a fact that was never disclosed to me beforehand. While Maui is friendly and seemed fine at first, I realized the living conditions were unacceptable: all 7+ dogs were left unsupervised for hours in two small rooms; some were caged. I had requested that Angel administer my dog’s allergy medication in the mornings and provided the precise dosage. When I got Maui back, the pill bag still held the same amount so clearly the medicine was never given. When I tried to pick up Maui earlier than planned, Angel claimed he wasn’t home. He also failed to honor the agreed pick-up window of 9–10 PM. We arrived at 8:50 PM. He texted that he wouldn’t get home until 11 PM. My partner and I waited outside his house for three hours, refusing to leave without our dog. When he finally returned, he handed over Maui but with the wrong leash and without his bowls. Two of the other dogs tried desperately to escape, even jumping into our car as though begging to be taken with us. My boyfriend went inside to get the correct leash. He described a room with a puddle of urine on the floor, and a closet overflowing with disorganized bags. The rooms had no furniture and looked bare and cramped. This was a gut-wrenching experience. While I’m grateful Maui is now safe and sound, I want to warn others. If this is how Angel runs his “boarding,” I do not recommend entrusting your pet to him. We learned our lesson and going forward, we will be far more careful about who we allow to care for our dog.
