Pet care experience
One on one pet-care!
What sets me apart from other sitters is that unlike group dog walkers or group daycare, I choose to only have one pet in my home at a time so that they get my full and undivided attention. This looks like letting your dog take the lead during walks and letting them decide where they want to go instead of a strict route! They are in charge of the pace of the walk, instead of having to follow a group pace and can spend as much time as they choose too on mentally stimulating activities such as sniffing. Things to know about me: - I have a cat! Shes friendly and mostly okay with other animals but is sometimes a little scared of other animals so we have separate rooms in our home for things like dog or cat day care so everyone’s in a safe space! - I absolutely love getting to meet new dogs 🤗 - Located in the Yonge and Eglinton area of Toronto - I have 6 years dog sitting as well as cat sitting Feel free to message with any additional questions/ to set up a meet and greet!

Schedule
💻 I’m currently a student at TMU completing my degree in applied mathematics and have plenty of in between time that I’m looking to be more active in! I also will be home during the day so I have plenty of time to spend playing with your dog!
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
As someone who’s seen their fair share of reactive animals, safety is an absolute number one priority to me. To ensure everyone’s safety an initial meet and greet is mandatory for any animal staying the day / longer inside my home so that you as a pet owner have ample time in advance prior to booking to get a sense of how your pet feels in a new environment and if it’s a good fit. I’m also constantly on the alert to make sure the animal I’m caring for and my cat are all getting along. So if by chance something does happen such as a snarl, a bark, or some form of anxiety or aggression from either my cat or your animal, my home is separated into 3 rooms with doors. That way I can separate them to one animal per room to give them time to adjust then reacquaint them to each other slowly, or have the room to themselves with no other animals. None the less the safety of your animal is paramount to me as it’s important to me that they’re feeling calm and rested in my home.
A typical day
Dogs: For dog daycare/ boarding, I typically take them out twice during the day for bathroom breaks, once around noon and again around 3-4 pm for a walk around the block to stretch their legs and sniff. Then in the afternoons/ evenings, I like to take them out for a longer walk to the eglinton community centre dog park to play (with or without other dogs) and lots of time playing fetch or tug! And in the evenings before bed I’ll take them out once more for a bathroom break in my backyard! Cats: Lots of playtime with string, cat nip spray, cat lasers and springs to keep them entertained and also active because exercise for cats is very important for cats as well as dogs! Lick mats with treats to also keep them mentally stimulated! Litter box change twice a day because I get how important it is for them to have a clean bathroom space And of course lots and lots of attention 🤗
