I am currently working from home full time and able to let the dogs out for potty breaks usually every 2-4 hours but can do so more often if needed. I can provide text updates with pictures at least once per day. I’m somewhat of a homebody so you can expect me to be home watching the dogs most of the time both weekdays and weekends. The occasional errand may come up, if it’s ever more than 2 hours I will let you know ahead of time. When away or sleeping dogs are usually allowed to stay out, or I do have an extra kennel if you are more comfortable with that.

In addition to my 9 year old Australian Shepherd, Louie, my fiancé lives with me and has a 4 year old husky, and my brother currently lives in my basement with a 7 year old German shepherd. All three dogs are friendly and have done great with every dog I have watched. Besides a hectic first few minutes, the older 2 usually just keep to themselves, but the husky will gladly play with any new friends if they’re up for it. I have a good sized fenced in yard with plenty of space for your pup to burn off some energy. I enjoy taking Louie for walks and would be happy to bring yours along too.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I can account for. Being house trained is required. I do not have any breed restrictions, although for the safety of my own dog I do ask that your dog be current on all vaccinations and not aggressive towards other dogs.
A typical day
Lounging around the house during the day while I work, with frequent trips outside to make sure my backyard stays squirrel-free. After work we either go on a walk or to a dog park (both of which I get your approval for beforehand), or do some more playing in the backyard.
