Information Andy F. would like to know about your pet

Breed and Size: Different breeds have distinct characteristics, energy levels, and care requirements. Size also matters for accommodation and exercise considerations. Age: Puppies, adults, and seniors have varying needs in terms of exercise, training, and health care. Health Conditions: Awareness of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or dietary restrictions is vital for proper care and timely responses to emergencies. Behavioral Traits: Information about a dog's temperament, socialization, interactions with other dogs and people, and any history of aggression or anxiety helps in providing appropriate care and avoiding stressful situations. Training Level: Knowing if a dog is trained in basic commands, leash manners, and housebreaking assists in ensuring a smoother experience. Preferred Activities: Understanding a dog's favorite activities, toys, and play styles helps in engaging and entertaining them effectively. Daily Routine: Knowing the dog's usual schedule for meals, walks, and sleep helps maintain consistency and reduces anxiety in a new environment. Emergency Contacts: Having contact information for the owner's veterinarian and an emergency contact person is essential for quick responses in case of health issues. Leash and Collar Preferences: Information about the type of leash, collar, or harness the dog uses ensures safe and comfortable walks. Favorite Treats and Rewards: Knowing what treats motivate the dog can aid in training and reinforcing positive behavior.

A typical day

I will make sure that the dog(s) are well fed, exercised and played with. If a walk is not enough I like to play fetch or tug-a-war to get the excess energy out.

Pet care experience

With a lifelong companionship with dogs, particularly black and yellow English Labs, I bring a deep understanding of their needs and unique personalities. From playful Labs to the gentlest guinea pigs, I've nurtured a diverse range of furry friends. Cats have found comfort in my care as well. My upbringing has instilled a genuine passion for pets and a knack for adapting to their individual requirements. Since I was a kid I have always had dogs and cats of different breeds to take care of. Your beloved companions are not just in safe hands, but in the company of someone who truly appreciates the joy they bring.

Andy has taken great care of our pets- both dogs and cats. He gives them a lot of love and attention- he genuinely enjoys playing with them! He has taken care to get our indoor/outdoor cat in before dark and always makes sure the water bowls are full. Andy has also recognized when pets are not feeling well and lets us know his concerns. I would highly recommend Andy to take care of any type of pet!
