I take my dogs for a walk every morning. With this Texas heat, I try to make sure they get in exercise while it is the coolest time of the day. I have a husky who gets brushed weekly and baths every 3-4 weeks.I also have an older dog who has different needs and have dogsat for friends and family who have had pets with medical needs that I pay much attention to when needed. If instructions are provided for the pet’s needs, I will give it my full attention to make sure the pet is taken care of with highest attentiveness.

Due to the heat in Texas, I understand finding a good time to walk outside with pets can be hard to calculate. If your pet is showing any signs of overheating I will remove them from outdoors and try to reschedule for a cooler time of the day to ensure pet safety. I am happily willing to walk pets earlier in the morning or later in the evening after first walks and meet and greets.

I typically walk my dogs in the morning before it gets to hot. In the evening we will occasionally go to the dog park at my apartment complex which has a wide open space for dogs to play and run. I also enjoy taking the dogs I care for to Phil Hardberger park, so long as they are not super reactive amongst people and other dogs. To ensure a healthy level of activity, I make sure I to keep active whether your dog like to go for slow, medium paced, or even runs!

Andria was a life saver! I was out of town and my husband‘s back issues prevented him from taking Poppy on her regular walks. Andria came to the rescue. She was even able to come a little earlier than we booked to avoid the heat. We highly recommend, and will not hesitate to call Andria again!
