Pet care experience
Very active pet loving and I WFH
I've been taking care of pets since I was 13 years old. In college I worked with my local shelter to foster dogs and now I volunteer at my local animal shelter 3x a week. I've been pet/house sitting for the past 3 years. I'm very active and really enjoy going on runs and walks, your pets would get many opportunities to visit parks if they stayed with me! I also work from home so I'll be able to spend loads of time loving and caring for your best buds.

Andrew house sat our two dogs for a little over a week. One of our dogs is pretty shy and slow to warm up, but in just a few days she seemed totally happy with Andrew there. He was great about keeping us updated and we knew the dogs were in good hands. We highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a dogsitter!
Andrew is great, really thorough in asking questions beforehand, very communicative during his stay with my two dogs and our bonus dog that we are currently watching. He appreciated their personalities and even worked with my larger dog who is a little wary of men at first but ultimately warmed up to him quickly!

10/10 recommendation! It’s not always easy to find good and reliable pet sitters but Andrew went above and beyond and I cannot highly recommend his services enough! I was out of state already and he helped me out tremendously when my previous sitter canceled on me last minute. He stayed overnight for multiple days, and took incredible care of my two German Shepherds. From the start, he was communicative, confirmed all details, and kept me consistently updated, which gave me total peace of mind. He didn’t just watch them — he kept them company and entertained them, he eased their anxiety, and he truly helped comfort them while I was away. It was clear they were well cared for and genuinely enjoyed his time with them. If you’re looking for someone reliable, attentive, and great with dogs or cats (I have both), he’s absolutely the one to book!
It was an absolute delight to have Andrew stay with our dog Maeve at our home! He asked lots of thoughtful questions during our meet and greet and we felt so comfortable knowing he was with her during our week away. He gave us regular updates, left the place cleaner than we left it, and the best part, Maeve is sharper than ever with her regular tricks when we got back because Andrew was so amazing about playing with her and keeping her routine. Thank you for being so wonderful!
Andrew was great with our dog reactive dog. He could tell what she liked and gave her a similar life to what she has when we are here. No complaints. I would highly recommend Andrew.

Schedule
I work full time but from home so I am available essentially 24/5. I am available weekends as well but just need notice so I can adjust my weekend schedules around to accommodate for your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large 3 bedroom apartment one block away from Van Vorst Park which has its own dog park. Roughly a mile away is Livery State Park with massive space for your animals to play. I live with my girlfriend as well who is also a huge animal lover as well :). We do not have any pets of our own.
A typical day
I absolutely adore playing with dogs. There's a park within my community and I live in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I routinely go on walks in the Sourlands and alone local river/creeks.
