Availability
I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care consistently. I work part-time on Mondays and Wednesdays and attend school, but I still have wide availability outside of those commitments, including most afternoons, mornings on certain days, and weekends. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet I care for gets reliable attention, consistency, and quality time. I’m also able to accommodate recurring visits and can often adjust around specific needs when communicated in advance. Your pet’s comfort and routine are always my priority, and I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive care every time.

About Andrew V.
Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in their own home by keeping their routine consistent and their environment calm and secure. I follow all instructions closely, respect the home as if it were my own, and stay attentive to safety details like doors, gates, and exits. I focus on calm, reliable care and noticing small changes in behavior so pets feel safe and understood. I also provide clear, consistent updates (including photos) so owners always feel confident and informed.
Information Andrew V. would like to know about your pet
• Feeding schedule and diet (including allergies) • Behavior and temperament (friendly, shy, reactive, etc.) • Medical needs or medications • Walk/potty routine • House rules (where they can/can’t go) • Triggers or fears • Vet and emergency contact info
A typical day
I keep activities safe, engaging, and tailored to each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, I do structured walks, sniff-heavy exploration routes, fetch, and light training games that reinforce good behavior (like sit, stay, and recall). If they’re high-energy, I’ll include longer walks or backyard play sessions to help them burn off energy in a healthy way. Across all pets, I prioritize mental stimulation just as much as physical activity; so puzzle toys, scent games, and consistent positive interaction are always part of the routine.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 5 and have raised over 10 dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also personally trained 3 dogs from puppyhood, so I’m comfortable with everything from basic training to high-energy pups who need structure and patience. I have experience with both small breeds (especially Miniature Schnauzers) and large breeds, including active and thick-coated dogs like St Bernards and Alaskan Malamutes. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every dog like my own. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands 🐾
