Pet care experience
Dog Dad, Nurse, and Animal Lover
Hi! My name is Andrew. I’m a nurse working in critical care and behavioral health settings. I hold bachelors degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and I’m pursuing my long term goal of becoming a DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I joined rover as a way to make additional income and prevent burnout by picking extra nursing shifts. I have firsthand experience caring for dogs, having a golden doodle myself. I understand the responsibility that comes with being entrusted with a pet. From daily walks and feeding schedules to playing, companionship, and providing a safe environment, I treat every pet with the same attention and care as I would show my dog.

Ratings and reviews
Andrew was fantastic with my Schnauzer, Max. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Max in his care. Andrew’s Goldendoodle, Milo, was an added bonus. Max and Milo got along great and had plenty of fun playing together. Andrew kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. When I picked Max up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and caring dog sitter. We would gladly book with him again.
Andrew is the nicest, most kind human ever! He has a dog of his own who he takes such good care of! He is such a trustful and amazing person who will only show kindness towards your pets!

Schedule
I work as a nurse on a predictable schedule, which allows me to plan pet care around my days off. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. I have a golden doodle and understand the importance of regular walks, exercise, attention, and maintaining a pets routine.
