We are condo dwellers so we are super comfortable around all the unique elements of having dogs in New York including elevators and ,pre than anything understanding the environment around me when I'm out walking - from careful road safety to anticipating any hazard - from e-scooters to loud noises
Information Andrew P. would like to know about your pet
I like to know if there are any special commands or words to use with your dog. What's her or his temperament...how do they get on with other dogs? If it's raining, will they wear a coat? Are there any things on the street that they are sensitive too (ie loud noises). Also what kind of harness do they have, and is it ok to give the occasional treat during walks.
A typical day
Every outing or stay should be a happy and fun experience so we're into all sorts of games including hiding treats, toys and training. We love Prospect Park and roam its paths almost every day. Even on a short walk I love interacting with your dog so we'll build a strong bond. I like to totally tune in to the dog, while ensuring the environment around us is safe (ie cars, glass on the sidewalk, garbage trucks, random food on the sidewalk, food delivery ebikes and all that fun NYC stuff!)

Walking my own dog Hana in Brooklyn has been the highlight of my day for the last ten years. Now I'm retired I have even more time to spare - and what better way to spend it than with dogs. And I want you to have one less thing to worry about with reassurance that your pet is having a great day - even if you’re not! As well as fun, I put a premium on safety. NYC is a challenging environment for dogs and demands concentration, common sense and heightened antenna, at all times. I think you will find me super reliable, flexible and devoted to your pet, whether I'm providing walks or sitting.
