I honestly can’t think of anyone better to recommend as a dog sitter or walker than Andrew. He is truly the ultimate dog dad! 🐶❤️ We have two dogs, and he takes care of them like they’re his kids. Our older dog is already 10, so he’s especially attentive to her needs as she gets older. He walks them 3–4 times a day, grooms them, brushes their teeth, and makes sure they’re comfortable, happy, and getting plenty of exercise and attention. He’s also put a lot of time and patience into training them to be well-behaved on walks. He taught them to walk calmly and straight beside him, not constantly pull on the leash, and stay focused when they’re outside. He’s worked with them on being around other dogs, people, and different situations so they aren’t overly reactive. They can go on walks without barking, pulling, or causing chaos, which makes such a huge difference. He’s very consistent with their training and knows how to set boundaries while still being patient and loving. He also house-trained both of our dogs himself. One of them is a Yorkie/Maltese mix, and she was definitely not the easiest dog to train! 😂 When she was little, we enrolled her in behavioral training classes and personally took her to every single class. He worked directly with the trainers, learned the techniques they were teaching her, and continued working with her outside of class so she could actually apply what she learned at home and on walks. His patience and consistency made a huge difference, and she grew into a very well-trained dog. He takes their health and nutrition very seriously too. He makes their food from scratch and does a lot of research about dog health and nutrition to make sure their meals contain the nutrients they need. He’s always learning about ways to keep them healthy and happy and pays close attention to changes in their behavior or routine. And honestly, I think his career as a professional engineer shows in the way he takes care of them too. His attention to detail and work ethic are unmatched. He’s thorough, responsible, organized, and doesn’t cut corners. If there’s something that needs to be done, he makes sure it gets done properly. That same level of care naturally carries over to how he looks after our dogs. One thing I know he’ll do really well as a sitter is communicate with the pet parents. He’ll ask all the right questions—and probably a few extra ones 😂—to really understand each dog’s personality, routine, habits, diet, medications or special needs, walking preferences, triggers, and anything else that might be important. He genuinely wants to know everything he can so he can provide the best possible care and make sure each dog feels comfortable and safe. What I love most is that he genuinely loves spending time with dogs. Multiple times every week, he takes our dogs to the park or the beach just to hang out, play, explore, and spend quality time together. He doesn’t see walks and outings as just something that needs to be checked off the list—he genuinely enjoys being with them and makes sure they get plenty of fun, enrichment, and one-on-one time. He knows their personalities, routines, habits, and little quirks, and he treats them like family rather than just pets. I see every day how much love, patience, and effort he puts into being a dog dad, and I know he would give that same level of care to anyone else’s dogs. I would absolutely trust him with your pups and know they would be in very good hands with him! ❤️🐾
