Dogs and cats are the best!
As a pet owner, I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind when you're away. While I am not a licensed vet tech or a credentialed animal behaviorist, I am a professional and responsible animal lover, and I bring over 30 years of pet ownership experience with me when I come to care for your pets. I am a remote worker who has been in the Luzerne County area for a little over three years. I am based in Wilkes-Barre, but am willing to travel up to one hour away for overnight bookings. While I do work full time, my schedule is flexible and can be easily modified. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors and also love a day on the couch watching movies. I have no issues hitting a 10-mile trail with an energetic dog or spending the day watching Star Wars with a docile cat. I have a dog and a cat of my own, and nothing in the world makes me happier than spending time with them. I am excited to bring the same energy to your dogs and cats!

I understand how tough it can be to invite a stranger into your home to care for your pets. As a pet owner myself, my aim is to follow your precise instructions and make sure all of your pet's needs are met. My dog is getting up there in age and requires daily oral medication. She also isn't a fan of taking her pills. I am no stranger to coming up with inventive ways of getting my pets to take their medicine.

We had a wonderful experience with Andrew and would absolutely recommend him! From the start, his communication was excellent; he was responsive, reliable, and kept us updated throughout our time away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Andrew was incredibly professional and took great care of our two cats. It was clear that he was attentive to their individual needs and genuinely cared about making sure they were comfortable and well cared for while we were gone. We came home to two happy cats and everything exactly as it should be. It can be nerve-wracking using a new sitter for the first time, but Andrew made the entire experience easy and stress-free. We felt completely comfortable having him care for our cats and will be happily booking him in the future!
An exceptional experience with Andrew house sitting for 3 days, 2 nights. Pre-booking he promptly arranged a meet and greet and then post-booking continued to communicate until all was settled. Warm and meticulous with our two dogs, Snickers, a 10-yr old 95 lb chocolate lab and Leo, a 3-yr old 15 lb mini dox, they cuddled with and followed around Andrew the entire weekend. He provided excellent care and with photos, texted us several times a day. Couldn't give a higher recommendation.

We had a great experience with Andrew! We felt instantly comfortable with him at the meet and greet and his personality was a perfect fit. He followed all of our instructions closely and took wonderful care of Roscoe and Loki. We came home to find the house exactly as we’d left it, and our dogs were clearly happy and well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking him again!

Schedule
I work remotely and can easily adjust and modify my schedule. I can do my job from anywhere that is semi-quiet and has Wi-Fi access. I prefer to set up bookings with about 2-3 weeks of advance notice. Any earlier and I might already be booked. Any further out is too far in advance for me to commit. I will not agree to a booking without doing a meet and greet first.
