I’ve had dogs in the house since I was a kid, with 2 back home currently. I’ve always loved dogs and am simply waiting to own a home before I get one myself. Before joining Rover, I often babysat friends’ dogs pro-bono because I love the company and enjoy bringing pets with me on my runs. I live alone in a clean apartment that has a small fenced in park, and live right down the road from Urban Dog Bar. If it’s okay with you, I like taking pets with me to the greenway trail and to my beach volleyball games.

My dog has now visited Andy twice. He doesnt seem to miss me when Im gone so I know hes in good hands and being taken care of well. Andy communicates well for drop off and pick up making it easy on my schedule.
Andy was very easy to coordinate care with and very attentive to Iris’s instructions and needs. He was diligent with giving her new allergy medications she was on and watching for worsening allergy symptoms. Iris had a good stay with Andy.
My dog Vivienne came home happy and well cared for. Andrew was reliable, easy to work with, and clearly good with dogs. I would recommend him to others and plan to book again.
Andrew has pup-sat my mini goldendoodle many times and is the best when it comes to taking care of him. Charlie absolutely loves his uncle Andy and he takes such good care of him. Andrew loves dogs and is so good with them and I would trust him with any dog on this planet.

Schedule
Outside of the occasional weekend where I’m out of town, my sales job allows me to be home every night of the week and go home without clocking in/out. I run twice a week, play volleyball 3 nights a week, and like getting up early. Frequent opportunity to take pets out and having the flexibility to come home as needed makes my schedule very ideal for pet care.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m easily able to let pets out/walk pets before work, as my dog park is 20 steps from my apartment. My floor plan is wide open and doesn’t include a ton of expensive furniture, so pets are welcome to roam the apartment while I keep my valuables inside the latched walk-in closet. Plenty of room in my den for dog beds, crates, and food/water dispensers.
A typical day
I frequently takes walks around my neighborhood, or greenway trails at McCabe and Shelby Bottoms. Dogs are always welcome with me to my recreational beach volleyball games, too.
