I work from home full-time to allow for ample play and bathroom breaks. My two teenage daughters assist with dog care, feeding, etc. We, like any family have errands, sports practices, school obligations etc. that can take us away from the home sometimes.

Safety, trust & environment
Dog guests are treated like family, and we do our best to blend our routines with their home routines. We are the best fit for family dogs who prefer a home environment versus a sterile boarding facility. We can’t accept extremely vocal dogs, as we want to be respectful neighbors and have a peaceful stay. Out of respect for our family home and neighbors, we cannot accept dogs who are very vocal or not well mannered or destructive.

Information Andrew H. would like to know about your pet
Describe a typical dat for your pet. What's their relationship with a kennel, do they use one at night, when you leave, never etc? Where do they sleep at night? Does your furry friend take any medications? Any bad habits they are working on? Vocal to other dogs, neighbors, kids, etc they see on walks or in your yard?
A typical day
Fully fenced in yard and a built in play friend with our ridiculously friendly English Springer Spaniel! Warm home with two HS/College aged daughters for extra love and interaction. Dog walks, chasing one another and always a warm body for doggy snuggles or petting. Rover allows them to develop leadership skills and responsibility, and earn some extra resources for their 529 College Savings accounts.

Loving Family Home, Fenced yard
Pet care experience
Ready to welcome your dog to our family while you are away. Between myself, two teenage girls (18/19) and our own dog Gunner there is plenty of interaction opportunities to keep your pooch happy and entertained. Expect your pet to be showered with attention and love, get some exercise and lots of cuddles/petting. I work from home full time, which allows for lots of flexibility without the worries of having to have your dog kenneled or confined. We look forward to learning about your special family member to make them comfortable. Expect your pet to be treated like family without having to worry about very small children who not understand proper boundaries or doggy social queues. We joined Rover because we love dogs, and it’s also an awesome way for our dog Gunner to stay socialized, and earn a little extra cash when we are free that my daughters put in their 529 College Savings account. We get so many requests that often we block out our calendar just to reduce the volume of requests, so please feel free to message anyway (even if the calendar looks like we aren’t available) This is not a big or complex business for us, we are just a dog loving family and enjoy having an extra furry friend to join us when we are able. It helps my daughters pitch in and for their college plans, and our dog Gunner loves the company as well, so it works for everyone :-) Plenty of references available upon request. We are best suited for well mannered family dog who needs a loving and safe place while their family is away!
Reviews

Andrew took amazing care of our pup!

Always a good experience and Howie does well with Andrew and his family. Great communication and care. We have been having them take care of Howie and sometimes our son's dog, Sully, for many years!

Andrew is great and provides a wonderful and caring home. Casey was well cared for and happy, he went the extra mile in talking care of her. I would highly recommend him and will book with him over and over.

Another great stay for Archie in Andrew’s home! Archie has so much fun playing in the backyard and makes himself right at home. Andrew sends updates regularly with pictures which is much appreciated. We will definitely rebook another stay!
