Cats On Call pet sitting service in St Helens
Hi I am Andy and it would be a real pleasure to care for your cat when you are unavailable. Boarding for cats can be a very stressful experience, but if your cat is able to be cared for in their own home, this will reduce their stress while you are away from them. I work full time for the feline charity Cats Protection which has given me a vast amount of experience caring for cats with all sorts of personalities. I have completed an animal management diploma, achieving a distinction star grade. I am also studying for a foundation degree in animal behaviour, I understand cats can be wary of strangers, therefore I will do my upmost to put your cat at ease throughout the experience. I have experience of administering medication. I also have two cats of my own, Dotty and Patch which were rescue cats I adopted when they were 11 months old. I have availability of an afternoon/evening only to provide care for your pet. I am unable to do morning visits.

I can provide a drop in service tailored to your requirements to provide for all your cats needs and look after your home whilst you are away. I will ensure your cat is fed to your requirements, litter trays changed, give them lots of attention and play time and give you updates on your pet.

Great communication; I got both pictures and video of my cats, and it was so reassuring to know that someone who understood their needs and behaviour was there whilst I was away. Andy showed an instant bond with my cats from his first meeting, and I’m really pleased to have someone we will be able to call on in future if I’m away for any reason. Andy was friendly, accommodating and immediately comfortable with my cats and their personalities, and that’s not always the case when people first meet Sphynxes! I was confident in his ability to take care of them and that meant could relax and enjoy my time away.
My cats were very comfortable with Andrew’s presence. He sent daily updates with photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away from home. I will definitely book again for my next trip.
Andrew was great throughout the entire process. Whilst we were away he came when we had asked him to and stayed to spend some time with the cats. He was diligent in making sure they were happy, their food/water topped up, litter clean and spent time with them. We would definitely recommend and will book him again in the future!

Can’t thank Andrew enough for his care of our 2 cats whilst we were on holiday! He was a complete pro!…taking notes and asking questions about aspects I had not thought of! It was the first time I had used someone other than family + I would not hesitate to use him again! Our cats are quite shy with strangers but Andrew managed to win them over + it was very reassuring to get photos of them whilst we were away! If you want peace of mind Andrew is your man! Thanks again Andrew!
Andrew was amazing. I've been so worried whilst away because I left Suzume for the first time ever. I've received pictures and videos which have made me feel much better. Thank you again Andrew.
