I’ve been caring for animals for about 15 years through my own pets and helping family and friends with theirs. I have experience training dogs in basic skills such as sit, down, stay, touch, recall, heel, leave it, and go to place. I also have a good understanding of dog behavior and body language, including how to redirect unwanted behaviors using reward-based training. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, from small dogs to large and giant breeds, as well as cats and puppies. I have hands-on experience with walking, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and basic obedience training. I especially enjoy working with puppies and practicing skills such as sit, down, stay, recall, leash manners, and impulse control using reward-based training. I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and focus on keeping your pet safe, comfortable, and engaged while they’re in my care.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, potty routines, walking preferences, and household rules. I always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure and will communicate with you during each visit. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, puppies, and cats.

I’ve trusted Andrew to care for my cat, including looking after him after he was neutered. He was attentive, responsible, and made sure he was comfortable throughout his recovery. I’ve also seen Andrew consistently work with a Cane Corso puppy over several months, teaching basic commands, obedience, patience, and good manners. I would feel relieved knowing Andrew was caring for my pets while I was away.
Andrew is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive with animals. We have three cats of our own who we raised from stray kittens, and we’ve cared for them for years. He has always been very gentle and patient with them and makes sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Together, we’ve also cared for a young Lab puppy, an elderly Golden Retriever, malnourished kittens, and one of our cats who required oral medication. Andrew is responsible, dependable, and has a very caring approach with animals, especially when they need a little extra patience or attention. I would absolutely trust Andrew to care for someone else’s pets and treat them with the same care and kindness he gives our own.

Schedule
I balance pet care with my school and work schedule, which gives me availability at different times throughout the week. I’m generally available mornings, with additional afternoon and evening availability on certain days. My schedule varies by day, so please include your preferred visit or walk time when sending a request. I’ll confirm that I can accommodate your pet’s schedule before booking.

- Please let me know about your pet’s normal routine, temperament, feeding schedule, medications, and any medical or behavioral concerns I should be aware of. For dogs, I’d also like to know about leash behavior, reactivity, triggers, recall, and how they interact with other dogs, people, and animals. The more I know beforehand, the better I can keep your pet safe and comfortable.
