Dog Whisperer and Alpaca Rancher!
Experienced dog parent and pet sitter. Very active on Trusted House Sitters with a 100% record of 5* reviews and happy pet parents. I have a herd of 16 male alpacas on an 11 acre smallholding in Hertfordshire and much of my dog walking is carried out in that area and on my land.

At home I have a fully enclosed fenced garden and at the smallholding I have a perimeter fence. I’ll work with dog parents to their normal practices re off or on lead walks. I use Tile tracking tags attached to the collars of all dogs in my care. I’m also fully DBS checked as my Alpaca herd is regularly visited by SEN children as part of their structured learning journey.

Andrew was absolutely fantastic with Banksy while we were away on holiday. He made sure he was well cared for in the heat, taking him for walks early in the morning and later in the evening, while spending the day keeping him company. Banksy had so many adventures with him and absolutely loved him! Andrew also looked after our home, and we came back to it just as tidy as we had left it, which we really appreciated. We had complete peace of mind knowing Banksy was happy, safe and so well cared for. This wasn’t our first time using Andrew either — he looked after Banksy on our wedding day too, bringing him to the venue for the important moments and taking him home when it became too much for him. He was amazing then, and he’s been amazing again! We’ll definitely be using Andrew again next year and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who genuinely loves and cares for dogs. 🐾❤️
Andrew is such an amazing find for us and Evie, we were able to enjoy our holiday away knowing our Evie was in superb care. Andrew kept us upto date with lovely photos of Evie's stay, she was well looked after and loved so much so she's missing him while now back home with us lol! Can't recommend Andrew enough. Our dog Barnaby LOVES Andrew. Here’s why… Caring, fun, loves animals, reliable, takes him to exciting places. Barnaby literally jumps so high in the sky whenever he sees Andrew. Think that says it all!! Us humans get on really well with him too and totally trust him. Andrew stayed at ours to take care of him and I didn’t have to worry. I thoroughly recommend ☺️
Andrew is a great pet sitter / house sitter. He cares for pets as he would his own, and puts 100% effort into getting to know your pet, their routine and their likes and dislikes. He is quite the pet whisperer! Committed, respectful and tidy! You can't go wrong booking Andrew, and you will re-booking time and time again.
I have never felt more confident leaving our dog with a sitter! Andrew went above and beyond to make sure Loki had the best time while we were away, giving him lots of exercise, love and attention. Loki has some challenges and Andrew was fantastic at making him comfortable whilst getting to take part in adventures! We have Andrew coming back this week when we head away for longer and Loki can't wait. We got lots of videos and pics too which is always lovely
Andrew house sat for us over the summer and looked after our rescue dog Daphne. She is very anxious and reactive so I was worried. I couldn’t believe how quickly Daphne fell in love with Andrew! He was patient and kind and clearly has an understanding and love for animals which put both her and us at east from the start. The house was well looked after and Andrew communicated clearly and consistently throughout the process. He’s very reliable and I could really relax and enjoy my holiday knowing Daphne was safe and having the time of her life . When we came home she was relaxed and not stressed at all. She was definitely wondering where he was when he left! Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

I work remotely with plenty of spare time much of which is spent with my own dog, who is shared with my ex-partner and on my smallholding with my alpacas.
