As an educator passionate about helping kids grow and thrive, I bring the same patience, attentiveness, and structure to caring for dogs. I’ve grown up with large dogs and currently care for two rescue pups I trained from adoption. Your dog will enjoy a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel happy and relaxed. My experience as an educator has taught me the value of patience, consistency, and encouragement — qualities I bring to dog care. I know the joy, challenges, and responsibility of caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I provide compassionate, attentive care for every pup that I host. What to expect: - I only take on boarding during the weekends and over school holiday breaks to to provide your dog the attention and care they need. - Clear communication and updates - regular updates and photos - Safety first - I supervise playtime, walks and rest to prevent accidents and stress. - Structured Care and Guidance : consistent routines, and gentle guidance. - Play and Enrichment - with easy access to the outdoors, daily walks, stimulation puzzles, and toys - I am equipped to keep your dog engaged, and active. Daryl and Andrew took wonderful care of our pup Loki for a 10 day trip. I appreciated their flexibility with drop off and pick up, their thoughtful updates on how she was doing, and their skilled care. You can tell they truly love dogs - so much so that our pup truly felt part of their pack.
Daryl and Andrew were wonderful. They were patient, warm, and very caring with our pup Loki. In addition, they were gracious in enabling us to slightly shift pick up time at the last minute. I would highly recommend them.

Yoshi had a wonderful weekend with Andrew and Daryl. She loved staying with them and socializing with their sweet dogs. Andrew and Daryl clearly know how to handle big dogs, which was a huge plus for me. Yoshi has anxiety when I’m away, so I was nervous about leaving her, but they made me feel completely at ease. They also have a wonderful place where Daryl works, so Yoshi was with someone most of the time, which was another big plus. I would absolutely ask Andrew and Daryl to care for Yoshi again. They truly treated her as if she were their own dog.
Anna was as happy and healthy as the day I dropped her off! You guys did a great job with her… I now know at the next time I travel I have the confidence of leaving here in good hands. I bet she misses you guys. We should make a play date scheduled so she can see her new friends! Thank you again
Andrew is an amazing pet caregiver. I’ve seen him with both of his dogs and am so impressed with his calmness and ability to read his dogs behavior. He has also looked after our dog while we were away and he took great care of Penny.

I provide boarding in my large, dog-friendly home near the Jack London Estuary. Dogs enjoy a safe, comfortable environment with supervised walks, playtime, plenty of attention, and companionship from myself (my wife, Daryl) and our two friendly rescue dogs. As a rescue dog owner, I understand the importance of creating a secure and nurturing space. I carefully follow each dog’s diet, medications, and routines—whether that includes food sensitivities, timed meals, or specific feeding instructions—to provide familiarity and consistency, helping your pet feel relaxed, happy, and safe while you’re away.

From a pop-up obstacle course to interactive puzzles, a ball launcher, and plenty of access to the nearby park, your dog will have a variety of fun activities to enjoy during their stay with me.
