Although I'm new to the Rover platform, I've loved, raised, and cared for dogs (ranging in size from 10 to 90+ pounds, and of all ages) all of my life, and cats for years. I've employed others to care for our animals when we're away, so I know what level of care and communication clients expect. I know it's important for you to know that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence. Communication is a priority for me. I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease and for your pet to feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away. I am a retired school teacher, so my schedule is flexible, and I can take the time to get to know each pet's individual personality, preferences, and routine. I've lived in this area for more than 30 years. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I look forward to meeting you and providing a safe, positive experience for your furry family member!

You know your pet(s) best, so I will care for them exactly as you instruct me to. As a career educator, I'd compare my services to those of a good substitute teacher: you'll communicate the plan, and I'll faithfully carry it out. I'll send you regular updates while you're away. I love and genuinely enjoy spending time with all animals, and I understand how much you especially love your pet(s). Above all, that will inform the care I provide.
Ratings and reviews
Andrew was incredible with our dog Nabu, Anatolian Shepherd. Nabu is a large dog and needed someone to handle walking him. Andrew came on time for each walk and gave Nabu extra time and attention. He gave detailed report cards for each visit that included descriptions and photos. This is our first time using Rover and Andrew and he immediately made us feel comfortable and showed us he is a dog lover! We appreciate the care he gave Nabu so much! You can’t go wrong with Andrew was our experience!
Andrew was amazing! We just moved to the area and needed someone to care for our two dogs. We received the most adorable photos and updates! We came home to two happy and well cared for puppies.
Drew takes incredible care of our cat Nikki. He doesn’t just feed her, he takes the time to play with her and give her attention. He is genuinely concerned for her wellbeing. He clearly loves animals of all kinds.

Schedule
I am a (young and energetic) retiree, so my schedule can accommodate your needs. I am available every day of the week and can visit (feed, walk, play with, etc.) your pet(s) up to three times a day.
