I’m a student working towards my certification while also running my own mycology company, where I sell dual extract tinctures. In addition, I'm part of a band, so my days are filled with a variety of activities. Despite having a busy schedule, I love staying active and being productive. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I enjoy balancing work, study, and taking care of others—whether it’s my clients' pets or my own family. I'm always looking for ways to stay engaged and active, and caring for pets is something I truly enjoy as part of my varied daily life.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m taking care of pets in my own home or in your home, my priority is always their comfort and well-being. In my home, I create a safe, spacious, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and enjoy their time. I make sure to maintain a consistent routine with playtime, feeding, and walks, ensuring they feel at ease and loved. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to follow your routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, and any special care your pet may need, from feeding to grooming. I’m detail-oriented, so I make sure to keep your home as clean and secure as I found it, while also ensuring your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away.

Information Andrew C. would like to know about your pet

Before I watch your pet, I like to get a good sense of their personality and needs. Here’s what’s helpful for me to know ahead of time: Feeding Schedule & Preferences: Any specific food or treats they like (or don’t like)? And how often should I feed them? Activity Level: Are they super active and love to play, or are they more chill and enjoy lounging around? Medical Needs: Do they have any allergies, medications, or health concerns I should be aware of? (Just want to make sure they’re taken care of!) Behavioral Notes: Anything I should know about their temperament? Do they get nervous around other dogs, or are they fine with new people and pets? Potty Habits: Do they have a specific routine or any potty training quirks I should keep in mind? Favorite Activities: Do they have any favorite games or spots where they like to hang out?

A typical day

I love keeping pets active and entertained! Here’s what I’ll do with them to make sure they’re having a good time: Walks & Hikes: Whether it’s a chill walk around the block or a little hike, I’m all in for getting out and about to give them some fresh air and exercise. Playtime: Fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek—you name it! I’m down for some fun games to keep them active and engaged. Training (If Needed): I can help with basic commands and good behavior in a super chill, positive way if they’re up for it. Cuddles & Relaxation: Not every pet needs to run around all day, so if they’re more of a cuddler, I’m more than happy to hang out and relax with them. Toys & Treats: I’ll keep them entertained with some puzzle toys or give them some tasty treats to keep their brain working and their tail wagging. I like to adjust everything to what each pet needs, so they’ll always have a good time!

Pet care experience

I previously owned a West Highland Terrier for close to fifteen years, and since then, I've always been surrounded by dogs. I’m comfortable with both big and small breeds, and my last roommate had a Husky German Shepherd that I cared for regularly. Growing up with dogs has helped me develop a strong connection with all kinds of breeds. What sets me apart is my nurturing nature and experience with pets.
