I work from home, in sports publishing. Our two kids (17 and 14) both love dogs — we're the family who stops in the park to pet every furry friend we can!

Safety, trust & environment
Big, fenced yard: can go outside as needed/wanted, on demand. Quiet, low-traffic neighborhood. Sleep in our room. During the day, welcome to chill near/with us, by themself, or crated if desired. Nighttime arrangements as needed — ideal is to keep to the schedule that you've already established and your dog expects. Small(er) dogs allowed on furniture, and/or beds.

Information Andrew C. would like to know about your pet
Schedule — meals, treats, naps, etc. Apparent likes/dislikes, aversions (if any). Bathroom habits. Commands & cues (if any). Anything that will help your dog to be happy while it's here!
A typical day
Fetch, tug, chase — indoors and out. Inventory the yard: sniff shrubs & bushes and the varmint what's been burrowing under the shed. Bark at the neighbor cat. Catalog kitchen aromas and maintain proximity to all foodstuffs. Enjoy scheduled and unscheduled treats. Sleep it off in a quiet corner or at my feet or beside me on the couch. Greet the kids & mom when they get home from school — plus the odd guest & visitor (like the grandparents) who drop by and are delighted to make your acquaintance. Cuddles and pets as desired. Lots of attention! Your dog will not be alone unless it wants to be. We will be overjoyed to meet your dog and sorry to see it go. My goal is for your dog to get so comfortable here that they're almost sorry when you come to pick them up.

FENCED YARD, HOME EVERY DAY
Pet care experience
(technically Nicholasville, but really north Jessamine— just past Fayette Co. line) Been dogsitting since grade school. Cosmo is our doodle who’s great with other dogs — loves to play, but takes correction and doesn't dominate. I’m around all day, so the dogs go out whenever they like and stay with me inside the rest of the time.
Reviews

Andrew and his family took the best care of my Scout, while on vacation. They are the best!!!!

Andrew and his family were amazing!!! Chia had a great time with them and Cosmo. There was communication through the stay with photos and videos. They truly treated my dog as their own. I have complete confidence that when my Chia is with him she is safe, cared for and made as comfortable as possible.

Reesie enjoyed her time there
Andrew did a great job taking care of my dog and was incredibly quick to respond to any messages of mine during the week. Would book again in the future and recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter.
