Lifelong Dog Carer in Safe, Park-side Cottage Home
Hello! We’re Kristi and Andres, a married couple since 2023, and together we run our dog care services with the help of our own sunshine boy, Sam — a lively husky–border collie mix who keeps us on our toes! We live in London, just 100 metres from Brockwell Park in Herne Hill, the perfect spot for giving dogs plenty of fun, enrichment, and adventure. Caring for animals has always been a part of both our lives. Andres grew up in a family where dogs were treated as part of the household, with his mother working as a professional dog carer for over a decade. From an early age, he helped care for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, developing a calm, confident, and reliable approach. Kristi, on the other hand, grew up on a farm, giving her hands-on experience with animals of all kinds — from dogs and cats to cows. She shares the same deep love and respect for animals and brings a natural, caring touch to everything she does. Now, as a team, we continue that legacy of love and care. Whether it’s energetic puppies, dogs that need a little extra patience, or older pups who require gentle support, we provide tailored care in a safe and loving environment. Being so close to Brockwell Park means daily walks, playtime, and enrichment sessions take place in a spacious, dog-friendly setting where your pup can truly thrive. Whether you need help with regular walks, short stays, or longer sitting, we bring genuine care, hands-on experience, and a true love of dogs (and all animals!) to everything we do.

Really great stay and at short notice. We got lots of pictures which was really appreciated
Andres and his wife were so good at looking after Pablo! We received lots of updates throughout the day and even though it was a super hot day we were completely reassured and felt Pablo was in safe hands!
Andres and Kristi were a godsend when I needed a last minute sitter for my young high energy girl and elderly boy. They are both calm and caring and managed both dogs with ease, given their different needs. Looking forward to booking them again soon. I can’t recommend them enough!

Schedule
Pet care is at the heart of our daily routine, and we plan our days around providing high-quality, reliable dog walking. Mornings usually start early, and alongside our own active lifestyle, we dedicate time throughout the day to regular walks, exercise, enrichment, and appropriate rest. Kristi is a part-time master’s student, and Andres is also studying at university, which gives us both flexible schedules and plenty of availability during the day. This allows us to ensure dogs are never rushed and always receive attentive, unhurried walks tailored to their individual needs — whether that’s a steady-paced stroll, structured training-focused walking, or a more energetic outing. We are lucky to live close to Brockwell Park, which is ideal for daily walks, varied routes, and outdoor enrichment. When schedules allow — and always with owner approval — we also enjoy making morning trips to Richmond Park or Beckenham Place Park. These larger green spaces are fantastic for giving dogs a change of scenery, extra stimulation, and longer, more engaging walks. Every walk is adapted to the dog’s energy level, age, and personality, with safety, consistency, and enjoyment always coming first. For us, dog walking isn’t something we squeeze into the day — it’s a well-planned, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable part of our lifestyle.

Creating a safe, calm, and welcoming environment is central to how we care for every dog — whether in our home or yours. We live in a cosy, dog-friendly home in London, just a short walk from Brockwell Park, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for outdoor time, exercise, and enrichment in a spacious and secure setting. Inside, we maintain a clean and organised space, free from loose gear, small objects, or anything that might be tempting (or unsafe) for curious pups to chew. Whether your dog is crate-trained or prefers a comfy spot to curl up, we make sure their individual needs are met with comfort and care. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, we follow your routines closely — keeping consistency with feeding, walks, rest, and any special instructions you provide. We treat your space with respect and your dog with the same love and attention we give our own, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and well cared for. For us, trust, clear communication, and a secure environment are always top priorities.

A typical day
Our daily routine is built around attentive, high-quality care for the dogs we look after. We start our mornings early, keeping active and energised, before dedicating the day to a balance of university studies and dog care responsibilities. This schedule allows us to be present, attentive, and consistent with the dogs throughout the day. Dogs in our care enjoy two to three long walks daily. With Brockwell Park just a short walk from our home in London, it provides an ideal space for exercise, exploration, and outdoor training. When time allows — and always with owner approval — we also enjoy taking dogs on longer walks or mini adventures for a change of scenery and added enrichment. Indoors, we maintain a calm and organised environment, carefully following feeding schedules, rest breaks, and any specific routines or medication requirements. We tailor care to each dog’s personality, whether they thrive on playtime, enjoy cuddles, or prefer quiet relaxation. We also include basic training where helpful, such as sit, stay, recall, and toilet routines, always using positive reinforcement methods. Off-lead walking is only introduced once trust is established and the owner is fully comfortable. Above all, our priority is to ensure every dog feels safe, engaged, and genuinely cared for — enjoying a day filled with attention, exercise, and love as part of our family.
