Schedule

My schedule is quite flexible, which means I can be fully present for your dog throughout the day — not just squeezing in a quick visit between other commitments. I build in time for walks, feeding, and playtime at consistent intervals, and I’m happy to adjust based on your dog’s specific routine, whether that’s an early morning walk or an evening cuddle session before bed

Safety, trust & environment

In my home (boarding): I treat every dog like a guest in the family. They have access to a comfortable, safe space, regular potty breaks, feeding on their normal schedule, and plenty of playtime and cuddles throughout the day. I keep a close eye on their behavior and mood to make sure they’re settling in comfortably, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions around diet, medication, or routine. In your home (drop-in visits): I follow your dog’s established routine as closely as possible — feeding, fresh water, and enough playtime or a short walk to keep them active and happy. I make sure the home is secure before I leave and always update you with photos or a quick note so you know how the visit went. Walks: I focus on a safe, well-paced walk suited to your dog’s energy level and age, keeping them on a secure leash and staying alert to other animals, traffic, or anything that might make them anxious.

Pets

A typical day

I love keeping things playful! Depending on the dog’s energy and personality, we might play fetch or tug-of-war in the yard, go on a sniff-heavy exploration walk (letting them stop and smell everything they want), work on some basic tricks or obedience refreshers, or just cuddle up for some relaxed downtime if that’s more their style. I always pay attention to what each dog actually enjoys rather than a one-size-fits-all routine — some pups want to run around, others just want a lap to sit on.

Before I care for your dog, it’s helpful to know a few key things: their feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions or allergies, current medications (dosage and timing), how they do with other dogs, people, or being left alone, any commands they respond to, leash manners, and whether they have any anxiety triggers (loud noises, thunderstorms, being crated, etc.). I also like to know their favorite toys or comfort items, and who to contact — you or another emergency contact — if anything comes up. The more detail you share, the more comfortable and cared-for your pup will feel with me!
