Information Andrea Z. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any quirks - dietary restrictions, likes/dislikes, where he/she typically sleeps...and most importantly do they like a good butt rub or a good belly rub?

A typical day

Depending on the day and the dog's needs we can go for walks, play in the backyard, NetFlix and chill on the couch. I like to let the day play out and respond to the needs of the dogs at that given moment. Nothing is off limits!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Andrea, and I absolutely love dogs (and, not to brag, but the feeling is usually mutual!). I’m currently home full-time after pivoting from a 24-year career in drinking water safety following my second cancer diagnosis. I’m thrilled to say I’ve been cancer-free for almost three years—and working with dogs has brought me more joy and fulfillment than I could have imagined. Our household includes me, my husband, and two young adult children—one away at college in Texas. We share our home with two lovable pups: Lua, a 10-year-old Boxer/Plott Hound mix, and Nacho, a 9-year-old Basset Hound. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard, and when the weather is nice, we often keep the sliding door open so the dogs can come and go as they please. We love those days when the yard is full of happy pups running and playing—it feels just like our own private dog park! Dogs who stay with us have full run of the house, and they’re welcome to get cozy on couches and beds. If you prefer certain rules for your dog (no furniture, staying off certain floors, etc.), I’m happy to follow your guidelines so their routine stays consistent. In addition to hosting dogs in our home, I also enjoy cat sitting, dog walking, and providing doggy day care when needed. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved—so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands at “camp.” I’ll send daily photo updates so you can see how they’re doing, and I guarantee they’ll head home happy, well cared for, and ready for a good nap! As a policy, we request that all new dog clients who plan to stay overnight have a meet-and-greet at our home first. It’s a great way for both humans and dogs to get to know each other and for us to discuss your pet’s needs so we can make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. If you want, I can also make you a shorter, eye-catching version for your Rover “About” preview so it hooks people before they click to read the full profile. That way you get both a great first impression and the full detail for those who want to know more.

Andrea was amazing for our first boarding experience for a pup. She was honest and welcoming and I felt at complete ease with the care of our puppy. He was well cared for and happy the entire time. She was easy to access for any questions and was a pleasure to work with. Her home was well set up and safe for little chewers and explorers and her 2 dogs were gentle and friendly. Great experience

Andrea was a wonderful sitter for my dog Monsoon. She was patient with his puppy energy and sent updates and pictures daily where Monsoon looked like he was right at home with her and her very sweet dogs. I would definitely book with her again!

Andrea was amazing and extremely attentive and loving towards my dog. I was unable to communicate with her directly so I needed my sister to step in and Andrea was more than accommodating. She was communicative and extremely reassuring! She was so sweet during the meet and greet and definitely put my concerns at ease. My pup is small so I was just a worried mama, but all was well :) My Sonny had the best time there and he looked SO happy in the pictures/videos. I feel so grateful to have come across Andrea on this app and will definitely leave my dog with her again if needed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 10/10!!! 5 stars!!! ❤️❤️

Andrea is a pet owner’s best friend. Reliable, on time, and genuinely caring for the well being of her furry clientele. She cat-sat for us while my husband and I were traveling, and we were totally delighted with her. Checked in at the appointed times, shared stories and photos of our cat, so we felt confident our kitty was getting the best, most attentive care. The clincher was our cat (affectionately known as the invisible cat to former sitters), actually let Andrea get a peek at her - to me that was the two-paws up of approval! Would recommend Andrea to anyone seeking kind, and conscientious pet care in the future! 🐈🐾
