I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager and have over 3 years of professional pet sitting and walking experience. I am well-versed in handling reactive and fearful dogs, and I believe that with the right amount of attention, these dogs can enjoy all experiences. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and enjoy providing them with the special care they need. I work closely with clients to develop a customized plan for their dogs, especially if they are anxious or it's their first time boarding. This plan can include an introductory walk and a trial stay of a few hours to overnight to ensure the dog feels comfortable and secure.

Andrea was an amazing sitter for our dog, Remi! She came to our house for a meet & greet before house sitting, so Remi could meet her and feel more comfortable with her from the start (he suffers from separation anxiety). We hadn't originally planned on needing her to manage a special diet and medication, but when it came up, she was more than willing and adapted right away. She sent multiple updates a day with photos of how he was doing, was incredibly responsive throughout, and left the house clean and tidy. Having someone well-versed in anxious dogs and that we trusted from the start made a real difference. We'd be thrilled to have her watch Remi again and would highly recommend her to anyone in the area!

Oliver’s first Rover day stay! Andrea and her own puppers welcomed him warmly. It was great to see photos of him out in the fenced-in backyard and sharing a bed with one of Andrea’s puppers. This was a get-to-know-you stay for us as we consider traveling for weeks. We dote on Oliver and worry about leaving him. Andrea made us feel this will work!

Schedule
I am a hybrid worker who owns two small senior dogs. So caring for animals fit nicely in my established routine. I have a flexible work schedule so I can adjust easily.

I have a fenced backyard and am close to a few walking trails. I make sure to properly introduce my dogs to guests that I will be boarding at my home. I also have measures to keep dog separate if they're not comfortable being around other dogs. FYI I require a meet and greet for new clients of any service. This helps me establish a good relationship with your dog and ensures that I can successfully complete the booking. A few more notes about boarding - Please be aware my dogs eat on a schedule. So to avoid them eating any of our new friends' food I feed guests on a schedule as well. Pease let me know if your dog tends to be a free feeder so we can work together to make alternate arrangements. - I require guests to be crate trained or be comfortable being baby gated or I will have to respectfully decline your boarding request.

A typical day
I love taking guests I board over to explore the walking trail behind the government center. Being outside is my favorite way to bond with dogs.
