I have worked with reactive dogs and with time, trust, and practice I am able to help uphold the training or accommodations that our reactive furry friends may need. I hope to meet with the owners and learn about any feeding routine, allergies, behaviors, exercise and activity, favorite toys/comfort items, special requests, etc.
A typical day
When walking your dog, I prioritize engaging activities that ensure both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Here are some fun activities your dog and I can enjoy during our walks: -Fetch and Retrieval: I'll bring along a ball or a favorite toy to play fetch with your dog. We can take turns tossing it, encouraging them to run, chase, and retrieve, providing an exhilarating workout. -Scenic Exploration: We'll venture into nearby parks or nature trails, allowing your dog to explore intriguing scents and sights. We'll take leisurely strolls, providing ample time for them to investigate new surroundings, stimulating their senses and curiosity. -Socialization Opportunities: If your dog enjoys the company of other canines, I can bring them to local dog parks. This interaction promotes social skills and provides a chance for them to play and make new friends.

Hi there! My name is Andrea and I am a recent graduate from Colorado State University. With years of dedicated pet care experience, starting with my own two doggies and progressing to friends, neighbors and other family, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and behaviors of our beloved furry companions. From dogs and cats to small mammals, I have had the pleasure of caring for a wide variety of pets. My family had the pleasure of getting our first dog when I was 5 years old. In order to get our beloved golden, I pleaded that I would help take care of her. Because of this, my parents exposed me to the responsibility that arises when caring for a beloved furry family member. Whether it's ensuring they receive their daily exercise, providing nourishing meals, or offering gentle grooming, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of each animal in my care. I am skilled in administering medications, attentive to any special dietary requirements, and committed to creating a safe and loving environment for pets to thrive. Andrea has been walking my dog for about a week now and has been awesome! She's been quick to reply to my messages, very patient and understanding of my dog's needs, and always ensures my dog is taken cared of (leaves pet tv on for him, makes sure he gets water, plays with him in backyard if weather is too hot).
