I work full-time in the city, but have a flexible schedule. I am able to tend to your pet in the morning and evenings during the week day. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

I would like to know the dogs breed. I believe that a dogs play preference and energy level is greatly determined by its genetics. So let me know what you think you mutt is mixed with, I would love to know! My dog is half lab and half border collie, so he tends to be very protective of his people (flock) and can have a lot of energy. This knowledge allows me to tailor his training and his exercise schedule to the needs of his two breeds.
A typical day
I really like playing fetch with dogs. However, not all dogs like this game if they were not brought up to play it regularly. Other activities may include teaching tricks for mental stimulation, with the owners approval and choice of treat.

Pet care experience
I am an outdoor enthusiast, so would love to take your pup for a walk. I live in the city, so I take my own dog, Marley, for two 45 minute walks a day! I just finished up my masters in Biology, and currently preparring to apply to Vet school. I have 20+ years of personal pet experience (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians), 7 years of professional and voluntary experience, and 1.5 years of clinical experience. I worked in a local emergency veterinary clinic (OVRS) as a veterinary assistant. The skills I have learned may be useful if your pet requires medical attention such as oral drug administration or injections, or even CPR. I was attracted to Rover because I enjoy walking my own dog, so I would love to help you give your pup the attention they deserve. I am looking to building a trustworthy relationship with you and your pet. I occasionally volunteer at a shelter, so I have experience dealing with dogs that have behavior issues. I am willing to work with you and your pet to ensure that we both feel comfortable with each other.
