Hi there! I’m Andrea — a lifelong animal lover with over 7 years of experience caring for, training, and enriching the lives of dogs and cats. I offer calm, compassionate care and specialize in supporting pets with high needs, including those who are fearful, anxious, reactive or have medical needs. My own dog, Daisy, was a rescue I adopted in April 2018. She was extremely insecure and reactive when she first came home, so I understand how much patience and empathy it takes to help sensitive animals feel safe and understood. She was also diagnosed with mitral valve disease and congestive heart failure, so I am experienced in caring for animals with medical needs including administration of any necessary medications. Whether your pet is shy, spunky, cuddly, or independent, I’m here to meet their unique needs and provide a safe, enriching, and fun experience while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

Andrea did a phenomenal job with Bernie. We appreciated her flexibility with scheduling, drop off and pickup. But most importantly, we were impressed with the high level of care and attention she gave our pup. Great communication. Regular photos, and one VERY happy dog at pickup. If you have a chance to book this amazing sitter, put her at the top of your list!
Absolutely amazing! Andrea is by far the best Rover sitter we've met. She is incredibly responsible, attentive, and communicative. Andrea did an awesome job caring for both of our pups, one of which has a few health concerns that she handled perfectly. She came up with creative ways to entertain our other, more energetic dog, despite the snowy weather outside. 1000/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a stellar pet sitter. :)

Andrea boarded our dog, Freya, for two weeks over the 2025 holiday season. She was fantastic! From the very first meet & greet visit, Andrea was punctual, flexible, and detail-oriented. She asked very thoughtful and knowledgeable questions about our dog and it was obvious that she had a lot of experience with dogs of various temperaments. Freya's stay was even more incredible - we got daily photos of our dog being cute, being taken on multiple long walks, and generally loved on by Andrea. By day 3, my main concern was how I was going to get Freya to want to come back home. I could not recommend Andrea enough and would book her again in a heartbeat. If you're reading this review and Andrea is available - she is hands down the best choice. Literally the best Rover I have ever had.

Schedule
I am available early mornings 5-7 am and any time after 4 pm for care Monday through Friday. I am available for all day care any time on the weekends. Hourly Rate for Short Visits: For shorter visits or single appointments, I charge an hourly rate to ensure that your pet receives focused, high-quality care. This helps cover my time and travel, even for brief visits, while giving your furry friend the attention they deserve. -$22/hour weekdays before 6pm -$25/hour evenings/weekends -$30/hour holidays For longer, overnight house sitting and boarding I offer a nightly flat rate.

I’m experienced with crate training and supporting pets with separation anxiety through positive, calming techniques. I strive to create a secure, structured, and loving environment tailored to your pet’s unique needs.
A typical day
A typical day is built around your pet’s needs and routine. It usually includes morning potty breaks or walks, feeding, and playtime or enrichment activities. I love using sniff walks, puzzle toys, or training games to keep pets engaged and happy. Throughout the day, I provide companionship, calm structure, and plenty of affection. Evening routines include another walk or bathroom break, dinner, and wind-down time before bed. I’m happy to stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule to make them feel secure and happy while you’re away.
