Extremely disappointing Rover experience. Over a 3-day stay, we received minimal context or updates on how our dogs were doing unless we specifically asked. We also personally witnessed our dog being ignored while trying to go outside to potty because the sitter was focused on her phone. The biggest issue was the lack of respect for boundaries and instructions. We gave Andrea and her fiance free range to use many things in our home, but they failed to communicate when items were broken and gave our dogs things we explicitly asked them not to - things that could have potentially harmed them. To top it off, our $1,000 Breville coffee machine was broken during the stay and we were never informed. When confronted, Andrea’s fiancé suggested we go through the manufacturer warranty instead of taking accountability. As someone who has done Rover myself, I’m honestly disgusted by the lack of care and professionalism. My biggest advice: get cameras in your home.

I had a last-minute change of plans, so unfortunately, I had to cancel my booking. However, Andrea was so sweet and accommodating, and I look forward to working with her in the future!
