Availability

I'm a full-time architecture student at CU Denver with flexible availability for house sitting and dog walking. Since I split my time between Denver and Brighton, I can provide care in the Denver metro area. When I'm not in class, I'm fully available to give your pup my undivided attention, whether that's multiple potty breaks throughout the day, mid-day walks, or just hanging out on the couch during study sessions.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is my absolute top priority, which is why I believe in honest, open communication from the start. I know all dogs have their quirks, and that's completely okay! What matters is that I know about them upfront so I can create the safest, most comfortable environment for your pup. Before any booking, I'd love to chat about: Your dog's history with other dogs (any past incidents, even minor ones?) Triggers or situations that make them anxious or reactive Food, toy, or space guarding behaviors Crate training comfort level Any protective tendencies around their people For pullers, I encourage positive reinforcement with treats and such, it makes walks way more enjoyable for both of us! I'll send you daily photo updates so you always know your pup is happy and safe. My goal is for you to feel like you're leaving your dog with someone you completely trust.

Information Andrea M. would like to know about your pet

The more I know about your dog, the better I can care for them! Here's what helps me prepare: Behavioral history: Any past incidents with other dogs (even if resolved with training) Protective behaviors around food, toys, or people Specific triggers or stressful situations Care basics: Crate training comfort level Energy level and exercise needs Health conditions or medications I'm patient with dogs who need extra care or have specific needs. Being upfront about your dog's personality helps me give them the best possible care and keep them safe and happy while you're away!

A typical day

Every day is customized to your dog's personality and energy! A typical house sitting day includes: Morning: Potty break, breakfast, and a neighborhood walk or park trip. Midday: Playtime (fetch) or cuddle sessions for lower energy pups while I study. Afternoon: Another walk and potty break. High-energy dogs get extra play sessions or hikes on my free days. Evening: Wind-down walk, dinner, and cozy couch time, whether that's movie marathons or quiet naps, I follow your dog's lead! You'll get photo updates throughout the day so you know exactly what we're up to.

Pet care experience

I've been caring for dogs for 5+ years and have 3 years of professional boarding experience through Rover. My 3 year old Border Collie mix, Lyra, has been my best teacher. she's helped me learn how to manage high energy personalities, read canine body language, and understand what different dogs need to feel comfortable. Through working with various dogs and their families, I've developed a good eye for spotting anxiety triggers and helping nervous pups settle in.

Our pups were well taken care of with Andrea! There were some hiccups in understanding of the requested booking but Andrea was quick to communicate and was willing to address any issues before they arose.
