I've taken care of animals on and off for many years. My schedule is flexible and self directed, so this is a fun side job that I truly enjoy! I have a passion for working with animals and feel privileged to be able to. I've never canceled a booking. . I have experience caring for a variety of animals with differing needs. I'm experienced with older dogs, anxiety/reactive behaviors and medication administration. I feel prepared to respond to any emergency or need as they come up! . I tend to have a calming influence on anxious pets and like to talk to them a lot! I don't mind animals with special needs, senior dogs and non-aggressive, reactive behaviors. . Open to helping anyone, but I prefer working within 5 miles of Hyde Park, unless I'm house sitting for more than 2 days. I am rarely out after dark, so your pets won't be alone at night!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in backyard. My home is pet free. It is also kid free. Your pet will have my full attention if they visit my home. It's very safe, and quiet! . I'm open to boarding after I know your pet, or under special circumstances. Feel free to ask. I'm also open to long-term arrangements (10+ days). If you have 3+ pets, I consider discounts.

Thankful for Andy. This is the second time she’s stayed at our house to watch our goofy, anxious golden, Jerry. Andy had a big job being Jerry’s comfort on 4th of July weekend, as he is terrified of (most things, but especially) fireworks. Thank you, Andy!
Andrea communicates well-sent pictures. Played with our dog. Stayed late the last day when we were getting back later than we anticipated. Overall, great first experience with Andrea and Rover.
She was great with our dogs while we were gone. They warmed up to her quickly, which is huge because they are skittish. By the end, our shyest dog was her shadow. We received a lot of pictures and updates, and that was greatly appreciated.
I'm so glad to have found Andy. I know my cats are in great care with her and she provides the best updates!
Andi did a great job sitting for our two kitties while we were out of town! They have complicated food needs and health issues and it set my mind at ease knowing they were being taken care of. We really appreciated the update messages too!

Schedule
I pay lots of attention to the animals I watch. I sometimes have to be away for other responsibilities, but I have flexibility in my schedule.
