Hello there! My preferred name is Shay and I'm an animal enthusiast with a lifetime of experience caring for them. Sidenote: For the longest time I was convinced I was going to become a veterinarian, but life eventually took me in another direction. I grew up always having a dog in the house and love the company furry friends can bring. About six years ago I became a cat caregiver myself and then again two years later to complete my family! Over the past three years, I’ve focused my sitting efforts on helping friends and family when they needed their animals cared for, but now I’m looking to do this more regularly since I recently moved to Minneapolis. I have experience in giving medication, ensuring daily exercise is had (important they get those wiggles out!) and giving all of the play and snuggles. My services include walks, home drop-ins and house sitting at your home. Whatever you and your animals need, I’m here to work with you to help make it possible. As a teacher’s aid, I usually work 7:30-4:30 M-F and have weekends off with summer being even more flexible. I look forward to connecting and meeting your furry loved ones!
