Warm Greetings! I had a beloved doodle-mix for 13 years. She was a rescue and my best buddy. I'm not ready to get a new dog yet I long for the fun, silly and loving interactions with a dog. Through Rover, I get my "dog fix" of snuggles, love and play. About Me: I consider myself responsible, fun and I love to interact with the unique personality of your pet. My fee is a little higher since I look after only one dog at a time. As a result, they get TONS of attention! I will talk to them throughout the day, throw balls or toys, and go on a walk (or two) in my neighborhood. They are welcome to lounge on my furniture and sleep in my bed (whatever they are accustomed to). My approach with all sweet little dogs is kindness, love and being very gentle. I consider each dog their own special being - with a unique personality and preferences. I try to connect and tailor my care to who they are and what they enjoy. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I will happily interact with your dog throughout the day! I'm a real estate agent - much of it is marketing, phone calls and emails, all that I can do at home :) I look forward to meeting your pup and showering them with attention, love & kindness during their stay with me :)

Floki absolutely loves staying with Andrea! The biggest sign is that when we pull into her driveway, he runs straight to the door with excitement. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s happy, safe, and well cared for while I’m away. She recently watched him for the weekend, and I know he was loved and treated like family. I highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter!

Once again Kenai had a wonderful, caring, enjoyable visit with her favorite dog sitter, Andrea. ;:@) I’m so thankful to have a sitter for Kenai whom she loves seeing and being with. Kenai gets sad when she sees me haul out the suitcases and pack for vacation. But when I drive up to Andrea’s to drop her off she gets so excited and is a happy gal to see and stay with her. Andrea follows all Kenai’s care instructions and gives her extra loves plus daily walks and photos. Thank you Andrea from me and Kenai.
Andrea took excellent care of our little senior dog. This was our dog’s first visit with her. Coco is on multiple meds and has some health issues and can get anxious at times. Coco immediately settled in and made herself at home. We were kept updated with multiple daily texts and pictures. It is clear that Andrea loves dogs and is very conscientious in providing the best care possible Coco was happy and relaxed when we picked her up. We have already rebooked Andrea
Once again, Max really enjoyed his vacation with Andrea! Her care and communication allowed me to enjoy my vacation as well. I will continue to book Andrea anytime I need to go out of town. I know she truly cares about my senior dog!
Andrea is the best! She is attentive to my fur baby’s needs and she gives him lots of attention and cuddle time. She provided numerous updates and pictures while I was away. She also reached out as soon as possible to remedy a slight food shortage on my part. We will definitely see her again soon.

Schedule
Most of my time is spent at home, so I will be able to give your pet lots of attention and love. 90% of my work is done on the phone or computer at home. I have arranged my furniture so your dog can be right next to me when I'm working on my computer or watching TV, or a spot for them to look out the front window as people stroll by. I like to talk to your pet and give them lots of affection. My neighborhood has nice sidewalks and is close to a park. We will go on daily walks (sometimes twice a day!). I also have some dog games, kind of like "brain teasers" for dogs. They solve a puzzle in order to withdraw a treat. There are soft dog stairs in all my rooms, to make it easy to go up and down. Sleeping options: I love to snuggle at bedtime! So if your pup likes to sleep on the bed, close to a human, I'm all for it! I've even looked after pups who want to be under the covers sleeping right next to me. Again, I love it! It's all what your dog is accustomed to and likes. If it's in their bed on the floor next to mine, that's great too. Whatever makes them feel comfortable and happy. My mom also loves dogs and might come over and spend time with your pet. We are a family who loves animals and sees them as our children. Your dog's feelings and happiness are very important to me. Your pet is my priority while they are staying with me. Affection, attention, exercise and play...I employ all four in order to make your pup's time with me is as enjoyable as possible!

My home is a comfortable, one story rambler. I have a fenced backyard with grass. Most of my house is hardwood floors and rugs. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, I live alone. Sometimes my mom visits who also loves dogs. Your pup can sleep on my bed at night. I welcome cuddlers! I have air-conditioning too if we experience warm weather. They are allowed on the furniture and I have an array of cushioned steps. I have small beds for them too. Whatever to make them feel comfortable. My focus is on your pup! What one client texted me: "I gotta tell ya - we’ve had two other sitters after our first stay with you. You were great and I was trying to save money. My wife was upset because each time KOBE came back “different”. Not with you. A typical day
A typical day starts in bed with a "Good morning" and lots of warm snuggles. Then we get up, usually take a visit to the backyard for potty, then breakfast and then a coffee for myself. Then we sit in the living room while I check emails and your pup is right next to me on a cushy blanket or comfortable bed. I arrange my furniture so we are next to other. As the day unfolds, there are walks around the neighborhood, cuddles, conversation (I narrate what I'm doing and ask their opinion: "Shall we put in a load of laundry?" "Let's see what is in this Amazon box.."). My perspective is that they are my buddy and companion, and we experience each day together during their stay.
