I work in fine dining on an afternoon/evening schedule, so I finish my walks by 2:30pm. If you are looking to book a house sitting request, please note that I return from work at or around midnight. My work schedule is as follows: Sunday-Monday: Off Tuesday-Wednesday: 3pm - midnight Thursday: Off Friday-Saturday: 3pm - midnight

I maintain a very active lifestyle and bring lots of energy to my work with dogs. I walk my two pups (one large and the other small/medium sized) at the same time and give them plenty of time to explore when we go outside. When I meet new dogs, I observe their personality traits and work to build trust through careful attention and clear, friendly guidance. I am gentle by nature but strict and supportive in my handling. I believe in keeping a steady routine and know that every dog will have a unique set of needs and abilities that shape the nature of the support I provide. In my spare time, I also enjoy drawing and painting. I’ve done many pet portraits in the past and would be honored to take commissions for your pet!

A typical day
I enjoy bringing dogs on sensory walks to keep them mentally stimulated. On this type of walk, your dog takes the lead, exploring a sensory trail I’ve designed for them or indulging in some extra sniffs in their preferred patch of grass. I’ll come prepared for walks toting treats, bags, water, and toys depending on your dog’s preferences and needs. If you have a favorite dog park, I’ll happily bring your dog there to run around together. And when the pup just wants some quiet time, I’m always happy to sit with them peacefully and keep them company.

Please note that I do not schedule same-day bookings for first-time clients and I do require a meet and greet prior to booking. I have been walking 3-4 dogs per weekday through Rover for over a year, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and dispositions, including senior dogs and reactive dogs. I have a calm energy that instantly makes animals feel comfortable around me. It is important to me that your pup has a safe and enriching experience with me, so please let me know about all their routines, preferences, and quirks in our meet and greet! I love taking pictures of your pets! You can look forward to receiving a few high quality portraits each time I'm with them. 🤗

We had such a wonderful experience with Andrea! She was incredibly responsive and came through for us when we were in a bind and needed a last-minute booking after our original sitter became unavailable. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. She answered our questions quickly, kept us updated throughout each visit, and always sent plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She and her partner were always on time and made sure Azumi was not only well cared for, but also received lots of love, attention, and playtime. It was obvious from the photos and updates that they genuinely enjoyed spending time with her, and Azumi was always so excited to see them. Highly recommend Andrea. She is very reliable and communicative. She never misses a walk and gives a lot of advance notice if she will be unavailable for a day. She also sends great daily pics of my dog. Most importantly, my dog loves her.
