Hi! My name is Andrea. I have been a registered nurse for over 3 years, but I really enjoy dog sitting as a side job/fun job! I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have two of my own. I definitely see them as part of my family, and would treat any dog I would watch the same! I have had many pet-sitting jobs over the past 8 years or so. I love being able to help people with their pets and see it as a privilege. I have experience giving insulin injections and administering oral meds to both dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
When going into the dogs home, I will be calm and talk to them in a soft tone so they can get comfortable with me. I will work around the dog and what they are comfortable with and let them warm up to me.

Schedule
My schedule varies depending on the week. I currently work 3 days a week 7am-7pm so I still have a lot of free time to pet sit! I try to keep my calendar updated.

- I would like to know how the dog will react to me meeting him/her for the first time, and what the dog’s temperament is like so I can be prepared. I would also like to know what the ground rules are for each dog so I can know what is and what is not allowed while I am watching him/her. I really do not have any breed preferences, I will watch any breed of dog. Please let me know if there’s anything special you’d like me to do with your dog!
