Hi there, I’m Andrea :) My passion is and always has been animals and I can’t wait to meet yours :) I grew up moving around all over Northern California from the mountains to the Bay Area and everywhere in between. I was constantly around all different types of animals. At the age of 9 I lived on a mountain type farm with everything from cows and horses to llamas and emus and I was hands on from day one. From the fun and exciting moments to the gross (and even more gross), the miracles of birth to the heart breaking ends, I have experienced and helped with all of it. I am beyond grateful for the skills and knowledge I gained during those years. I already loved animals but I believe that’s where my passion to care for and protect them truly developed. I am currently almost 7 years vegan and it’s 100% for the animals. I am also a volunteer foster and adoption coordinator for a local non profit dog rescue here in San Diego. I have two, 8 year old cats that pretty much keep to themselves whenever we have fosters or rover pups. My Son is 16 and is also passionate about the animals. He aspires to be a marine biologist with a special interest in sharks🦈. He’s very patient and caring and is always happy to help out with all the animals that make their way into our lives, even just briefly. He has accompanied me to many rescue functions and adoption events to lend a hand and support. It’s just the two of us in our home and we hope to meet and care for your fur baby soon!

I have worked closely with a well respected trainer and I am confident and comfortable training or even strengthening most basic behavior skills for both you and your pup. I have a really great understanding of pet owners and how different we can all be with our ideas of how to properly care for our pets. That means whether you are more for your fur baby to be following strict rules and a disciplined lifestyle or you choose to completely let them run the show and there’s no such thing as rules, I wholeheartedly respect each owners way of caring for their pets without judgement. My goal is always to keep your fur baby comfortable, happy, healthy and safe while giving you peace of mind knowing that that is exactly what’s happening every second they are in my care ❤️

Andrea was amazing with Kobe and Ahsoka. Andrea being here for my fur babies was a huge relief at a very stressful time for my family. Leaving town for a funeral and leaving Ahsoka behind for the very first time I was very stressed. At first meet Kobe and Ahsoka were immediately drawn to Andrea. She sent plenty of pictures and videos to ease my mind while we were gone. My house was cleaner when we returned than it was before we left. Andrea was so caring and attentive to my babies I would 100% recommend her to care for your babies. I will be using her again and again.
Andrea helped us watch dogs over the weekend when we had a last-minute trip to take. She took good care of them. She took them out when they needed fed them and was communicative. We really recommend her service
Andrea never showed up for her House sitting stay. We were in touch till 2 days before the trip (including a meet and greet) and she never communicated anything that would lead to the no-show. On the day of the stay, I messaged and called multiple times and she didn't respond. Our family road trip was delayed till we could find someone. This was incredibly stressful for us. We also ended up paying double what we had for the house sitting.
Andrea so quickly formed a special bond with our dog, and is always super kind, professional, and communicative. We always feel secure and at peace knowing Andrea is with Bowie; and that they'll both have a great time. We could not recommend her more!
Review Title: A True Lifesaver – Above and Beyond! I can't say enough wonderful things about Andrea. On incredibly short notice—due to my husband’s unexpected hospitalization—she stepped in without hesitation to care for our dogs, Buster and Koko. Not only was she prompt, professional, and amazing with our pups, but she also went out of her way to check in on me to make sure I was doing okay during a very stressful time. That kind of compassion is rare and so appreciated. Buster and Koko were in the best hands, and I had complete peace of mind knowing they were being well cared for. We will definitely be using her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a truly reliable and kind-hearted dog walker. Thank you again for everything—you are a blessing!
Andrea has met Bowie before so he was super excited to get a walk with her. She was amazing at communicating a couple of days before the walk to confirm all details and then during/after the walk. Bowie is always safe, happy and tired after seeing Andrea!

Please note that I can take same day bookings and my prices are negotiable for drop ins, visits and walks depending on distance and needs :) I am currently available full time to care for your fur baby like my own ❤️ If your baby doesn’t play well with others and needs one on one care, I am more than happy to discuss appropriate environment and rates for accommodating that request.
